LS polls 2024: Polling Booth In Kodangal Modelled After A Wedding Pandal Surprises Voters

- Polling for the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana got underway with voters standing in queues to exercise their franchise on Monday.
Voters at a polling booth in Kodangal in the Vikarabad district of Telangana were in for a surprise when they saw that the booth had been modelled after a wedding pandal. As people arrived at the booth to cast their votes, the first among them was asked to cut a ribbon before voters entered the polling station. Over 3.31 crore voters are expected to exercise their franchise in 35,356 polling stations across the state.

There are no pandols, shamiyanas or other protection from sun in a booth in Korukonda school, so many in the pooling booth heavy sun races on head with heat. In one family wife has given one pooling station and husband has pooling station in other places about 2 KMs away. This is all expected since congress in rule.
