- You Don't Even Know Who I Am is playing now, I heard this song on the way back from a one-day trip to the small conservative town I was born in. ( I live in another smaller conservative town.) The realest feeling I've felt and I didn't even realize.
Four days later I listened to this song again as I drove to the hospital having just found out my dad passed away.
Glad to have this song as the soundtrack to such an important moment in my life.

After many listens to this record, after many different albums I’ve listened to only in 2023, this has been the best thing I’ve listened to this year so far. Very fun moments that just keeps giving with some slower moments that are just as engaging. Uncanny long arms was already making me tear up but that surprise Inlaws ending absolutely broke me. Kinko’s field trip 2006 was one of the songs that kept me going in 2021 and to hear the verses used again brought so much memories back. The change from fishmonger to Wallsocket is very impressive and I’m so happy for you Underscores. Thank you and I’m ready to support your next effort! Good luck!
After listen to this album everyday since it was realesed, I can confirm this is the best album I experience in a long time. The theme, not only in the narrative, also in the music is just an AWESOME work. As my name says… I make music but I’ve never felt like there was hope for making music a full time job, or pursuing it. Every song I made, I would look back on it six months later and realize that I didn’t like it. Just a bit ago, I learned that the relatively small high school I’m attending is the same one you graduated from in 2018. This sounds a little cliche, but you’ve shown me that there is hope for me making it as a musician one day. You’ve given me the confidence to give it all I’ve got. Love your music and am so excited for the new album ❤

To those who don't know, Uncanny long arms was originally "Inlaws", which was an unreleased demo track April made for the fishmonger album.
Never AT ALL did I think there was any chance of one of those B Sides/Demos being finished, but to me that was just the cherry on top to this destructively beautiful and adventurous album.

A really close friend of mine introduced me to fishmonger. It's been almost what feels like 3 years now, and it's been a fuckhell of a journey. There's a lot of mental trauma I'm healing from and your music has been a huge part of me figuring everything out I'm struggling with.
I'm so grateful for the friends I got to meet and make, and the music I got to listen to.

this album is beautiful, but in an uncomfortable kind of way if that makes any sense. the stories of the characters in wallsocket are almost so real and visceral that it makes my skin crawl. uncanny long arms gives off this crazy analog horror vibe to it that is so addictive and so terrifying. i can't describe it any better, this album is just amazing and creates an incredible world to get lost in
