Great review. Thanks for showing the gun holster possibility for the front Molle. Nobody else has! Makes the most sense to me without playing with one. Putting this unit on my must have list!
Really happy with mine, after watching this video it had me change the position of the rangefinder. I had it on the side but moved it to the front, access to it is better. I also had questioned how the holster was mounted, but I was happy to see I had it positioned correctly. Great video.
It's an awesome bino harness. I use the lower pouch for my range finder, but now that I know there's a separate pouch they sell for a range finder, I'll definitely pick that up, and the Pistol holster.

@InDeepShip, Alaska Guide Creations has bino packs for pretty much any size binocular. Here is their webpage that details what binos work for which bino pack they offer: alaskaguidecreations.com/pages/size-guide You'll see the RAVUS will work with some of the 12x50s on the market. In this video, I had rangefinder binos from Sig in them with plenty of room. I've also used the RAVUS with Sig's 11x45 binos with no issues.
The Ravus features a forward opening lid with a quiet, magnetic closure. The top of the lid is constructed with 2 elastic sleeves that are a staple of Alaska Guide Creations Bino Packs. The main Compartment measures 6.75-inches tall x 6.25-inches wide x 3.5 inches deep and will fit MOST roof prism binoculars up to 12x50 including most popular rangefinding binoculars. The rear compartment (flat zipper pocket) measures 5.75-inches wide x 5-inches tall. Side pockets on the Ravus are flat mesh pockets that are perfect for holding wind checkers, mouth reeds, or any other small items that require quick access.
I was ready to order the pack, the magnets killed it. I use OnX but I also use a map and compass. Electronics fail. Learn how to navigate with a map. It opens a up a whole new world.
@@D_Boone the way the lid closes, integrates with the tethers and how the magnet works is terrible…tethers are terrible, not easy to disconnect and are way to loose of a bungie that allows the Binos to say way low, the magnet is almost non existent and the lid has to be perfectly aligned and the tethers hand to be just right for the lid to close and even then it’s not strong enough to keep it closed Very bad “upgrades”

I used the Sig 11x option in them and they fit well.

One is the all time worst Bino harnesses ever
Hate the Ravus
Really? Why? I was thinking about buying it, and I would love to hear your thoughts.
