Todrick Hall gives ET's Denny Directo an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of "Kinky Boots," granting full access to his dressing room and those iconic red boots.
People you need to understand that this is not rupauls drag race. This is a Broadway show, yes Lola's costumes do have built in tucking as well as some have corsets. But there is no time for the extra "Drag" ness ... Lola has over 10 costumes changes, and they're all timed perfectly quick enough so that he doesn't miss his entrance. There is no time for corsets, sinching, tucking, padding , what so ever that you would normally see on rupauls drag race. Stop comparing A Broadway role to rupauls drag race. Also keep in mind that lola represents a drag queen from back in the days that's why you don't see so much makeup, padding, ridiculous sinching, and big pageant hair. Something that you see in today's modern queens.

Todrick Hall was perfect in this role. I am so lucky that I was able to see it live. It was fantastic! He is extremely talented and I can't wait to see where his career takes him. I would love to see him star as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the stage version of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Karl Donatella He doesn't have time to cinch his waist during the show, I have seen the show in the West End. Lola literally has to change 10 times during the show and has to go in and out of drag in a matter of minutes, he literally doesn't have time in those changes for cinching his waist or any extra shit like that, it's literally just make-up, wigs and outfit and that's it (I don't think they tuck but I'm not 100% seems like so much effort)
