I listened to a sermon last week about the true meaning of taking up our cross, it is surrendering our will every day to Christ. Pastor CeCe is the only other anointed disciple that has stated our cross is to surrender. The Holy Spirit is working to bring us to a deeper understanding of the truth. Last days and perilous times, we must have the faith and surrender to the will of God. Jesus is coming soon.. Amen.
I so resonate with CeCe when she said her life does not look like she thought. I can look over my life and say, this is not the way I planned it, this is not the way I thought it would be working out. But God has worked it out far better than I thought. It has not always been a bed of roses, there were seasons I cried, there were times when life made no sense to my mind. There were times I was angry at God. Through it all though God has taught me to know and trust Him more. I still have the daily battle with my flesh wanting to take charge, but God gives grace to die to self. Thank God for He is ever faithful.
My prayers are for you. I had so much pain but it wasn't until I got real that the healing began. I had to just tell the Lord XYZ hurt me. I had to cry. I was sitting on the floor one day. I just began to beat the floor with my fist because of what was done to me. I was punching the floor crying really hard. It was such a relief. I afternoon after church, I just wailed and wailed and wailed. I had been one to suppress my feelings. I would say oh okay. I just didn't want to deal with all forms of abuse that I experienced growing up and even into my adulthood! But the things that we don't acknowledge, cannot be healed! You have to feel the pain which I didn't want to do at all! I was traumatized when it happened and I have to relive it? No way! But yes way! I feel so much better! It's a journey. It was a journey this summer up until now. The people that I utterly hated because of what "they" did to, I can pray for them now. I didn't want to sit next to them. Now, I pray for my brothers and sisters. I pray for God to bless them. I never would have thought it was possible! God will heal you to the point where you realize that it wasn't the person(s) who hurt you! They allowed the devil to use them to try to destroy you! God uses people to bless you. The devil uses people to hurt you, to destroy your life! After God heals you, you come to an understanding. You understand that they need Jesus. My cousin who took advantage of me, I pray for him. He allowed the devil to hurt so many many person's lives. He needs Jesus! So I pray now for him to be saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost! Wouldn't that be Awesome for your attacker to receive Jesus and turn his life around? Hurting people hurt others! I can say that because I was hurt. I hurt others as well. It's like a never ending cycle that needs to be broken! It can end with you! You cannot do it on your own! God will place you on the potter's wheel. It's oh so painful! I am not going to lie! It was painful painful painful but good has come out of it! What the devil meant for evil, God can use it for good! Look at me here encouraging you! I am telling you my testimony of the Goodness of God! I still need work of course. I am no where near the person I was! No where near! God has changed me for better than what I was. My Pastor said Sunday that some of y'all were a hot mess! I was indeed a hot mess. The things that you suffer as a child or a teen ager, you don't know how to handle! But as you get older, you have to face what happened! You cannot stay that little child any more! You have to be willing for that hurt person to go free. You are NOT what happened to you! You didn't ask for it! You were minding your business and here comes the devil! He comes to steal, kill, destroy you often through the people closest access to you! Satan will use whomever he can to hurt you! He has no scruples! He doesn't care! His goal is to destroy your life. His goal is to have you living in misery for the rest of your life! You cannot let him win. You cannot allow what happened to you destroy you! You cannot let what Satan did to you dictate who you are or what you are! You are a person who was abused. You are a person who was lied on. You are a person who was rape! That's not who you are! That's what happened! There's a difference! You are a child of God whom He lives. He hates what happened to you! People did not protect you. I am sorry! God is sorry that you were treated poorly! Please allow God to heal you! This lady posted that she has been suffering for 60 years! 60 years in pain! Ask God to heal you! Ask God to set you free so you can help others. You can speak to others like I am speaking to you! Women of God. Anointed to give us hope and to know God deeper. God sent me to watch Better Together right at the time I needed them though unbeknownst to me. Trust God to be faithful. I resigned from my job August 2021 and thought I was being buried only to realise that I've actually been planted. Better Together has been my spiritual teacher since then. Which later led me to a church I now call home. I so wish these women can visit SA to inspire our broken sisters. I said Yes! to God and am living every day depending on him. It's not easy but having Him in my life has given me the wisdom to do everything with ease. God Bless each and everyone of yous and your families. It’s NOT about being comfortable especially when we’re addicted to CONTROL! I just moved and obeyed God to move from Arizona to Tennessee. I’m 68 years old and divorced. I have learned to OBEY and be sent where He calls me to go. My 3 adult children are in Ca. and one in Colorado. I left family , state and everything for Obedience!!!
I had just encountered something, that caught me off guard. I came home, and this was up on my phone! I sat down, and it confirmed I already knew I needed to do! I had a choice to make! And it was to not compare, be jealous, but come under the protection of the Lord Jesus Christ. I had to change my mindset, think positively! I had to relinquish the negativity that my flesh was trying to pull me into, and allow the Spirit to encompass me! Thanks, thanks so much, for being part of my resetting, my train of thought! Absolute surrender has to be my mindset. I have to remain in the center of His will for me no matter what that looks like. And right now it looks pretty weird. But I continue to trust God’s sovereignty and His love for me.
We have to be comfortable with the fact that we are not All knowing, Almighty, in the beginning and End, GOD IS. So makes so much sense to surrender to Him and His will.
