I had a similar "showdown" in the Frontiersman (cap & ball) category several years ago at the Renton, WA (RUCAS) Muy Malo Hombre match where double the number of shots are sent down range and YOU MUST LOAD THOSE EXTRA ROUNDS ON THE CLOCK! For Frontiersman you could stage an extra two charged pistols as your "reloads" and merely cap them before shooting the next array of targets. The other five shooters were all faster shooters than me and had me runnin' scared the whole two day match but I managed to prevail because I could outcap them (not outshoot them). It was a most challenging and memorable match for me. So I can really get into this set of videos having "been there".
Thank you for the videos. Dudley Doright was one of my favorite shows on Saturday morning when growing up. You always had to wait until next Saturday to see if he saved Nell from the danger......
Awesome to see that you were able to shoot with Alberta Annie and Southwest Trapper. I've been lucky enough to shoot with them pretty much since I started shooting cowboy action. It really doesn't matter where I am on the range, Trappers rifle has a cadence that I can recognize anywhere . They also have a range on their ranch in Granum Alberta. They hosted the SASS Canadian nationals in 2023, because of the three shooter rule I wasn't able to shoot Frontier cartridge gunfighter at that match. But did manage to place first in the Frontier cartridge duelist category. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the match.
I think I got footage of ‘em too (I’m certain I got Annie (not sure about Trapper). Whatever footage I have captured will be coming up soon! Stay tuned.
@@jasongualdoni4809 - I really appreciate this comment. Sometimes when I’m producing / editing these episodes I’m questioning “am I getting my point across”, “am I keeping it interesting?” Etc, etc…. So, that feedback helps me to know that I’m at least on track with some folks. Thanks.
Fun opening skit with some classic characters!! Good shooting as well.
Thanks Santee.

Now this was simply some old fashioned, good (not so clean) Fun !! Will wait, not so patiently, for the next part 😁 Thanks, Jedi
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video! I can't wait to see how this plays out. You certainly know how to pique interest in CAS. 😎

Love the backdrop!
Thank you. Lots of photos of it on my instagram.
Wow...what a perfect depiction of our Canadian national police force.....especially the pursuit walk!
😅
Time to take a little break from reloading and watch Jedi.
And, I’m taking a break from reloading to reply to comments. 👍
@@JEDiTV yep loaded up about a 1000 38’s with my favorite bullets from desperado cowboy bullets
Wish I could have been there! Gonna have a hard time convincing me to shoot black powder, way to much cleaning! ;)
It is a lot of cleaning! You shootin’ tomorrow?
@@JEDiTV Unfortunately I'm not, but maybe I'll see you at Ranger Round Up?
I would take the challengers in your category as a complement. It's not going to be easy beating the Master Black Powder Gunfighter Jed I Knight!
Oh, I do take it as a compliment. 🤠
Great videos. Love to have you at the Canadian Nationals in Mission bc in July 2025
Thanks, I appreciate that.
"Will Jed be outgunned? Be sure not to miss the next exciting episode of _Jed I. Knight versus The Eight Marcus Truegood Gunfighters!"_
EXACTLY! You get it.
@@JEDiTV I just know. _(🎼Ah-oom🎶)_
