I notice after driving the mini-bus at work with a chair lift, the lift disengages to a downward position due to the moving of the bus. What has helped me is folding the lift first before unfolding the lift to prepare your wheelchair passenger to get off the bus.
@@darrenhill If you're talking about the status lights for the wheelchair lift, and they are showing errors but everything's working fine, then you can simply just ignore those lights Ive ignored them for over 3 years.
@@derrickmoses1507 thanks for the reply. I've had some previous ones with the same issue but this time, it's disabling ignition power ronrhe lifr unless i give it constsnt power.
@@darrenhill wait, what? Ive had the interlock issue where I cant shift out of park, the one where it refuses to activate the ramp, but Ive never had one where it disables the ignition!
I have this same braun millennium lift and forgot how to reset it. I know there's this button on the side of the control panel and you have to push it a certain amount of times with the ramp our and cut off. Can you assist because I can't remember the amount of times to press this button.
I have one of these lifts. I have the same drifting problem. I drive from my wheelchair. So no attendant. When it drifts out it doesn't have any hydraulic power to fold and disengage the locks. It just whines but doesn't move. Solution?? My lift is brand-new!
Hi there, One solution is to have someone push on the lift from the outside because it is not quite centered when it is folding up. The same principle could work by pulling from the inside of the vehicle while holding the fold button on the remote. However, if your lift is brand new, the supplier of your lift should adjust the lift for you so this issue doesn’t happen.
My bus battery has a brand new lift, but was sitting in storage for 8 months, the batteries died but when I got it jumped, the lift isn’t getting power and the light isn’t turning green to unfold. Any idea? Is there a battery on the lift that needs a jump?

Hey nice video. I have the exact same lift and van. Everytime I use the lift that red light alarm goes off. Been doing that for almost 2 yrs now. I notice in the summer and spring the red light alarm does go off but in the cold weather it goes off. Should I be worried?

Hi Toni, I’m hoping you could help me with pointing out how to bypass the safety feature where I can’t engage my gear shift when the back doors are open. I backed my van into my driveway while still in reverse I had someone open the back doors for ventilation. I then pulled back as far as I could without hitting house. Now that I did that I can’t move the van because the doors are open. It will not allow me to put it in gear to drive it

Oh my gosh, this video will be a huge help in my school bus.
I've also used WD-40 on the hinges.
Makes it much faster.

You need to take your manual tool and tighten up the relief valve

Will this cause a no crank, no start?
