Personally, I am a non-believer. But I love Matis' music. I love the positive messages and the hope and happiness that he gives to people through his words. He has such soul and honesty in his voice. Whether you are a believer or not, I think everyone has thought about needing help before. Wishing there was someone listening. Wishing there was someone who could hear you and help you out of the hole you are in. To me, this transcends religion. It is life. It is part of being human, and struggling to find a way through life with now instruction manual. So we grab whatever we can to help us on our way, whether it be music, art, religion, sports, reading, etc. Though I don't believe, I still have mad respect for those that use their beliefs, whatever they may be, to promote peace and love in the world.
