How would this lens compare to a 16mm (or what I have the sigma 14-24) f2.8 lens for astrophotography? Is there a noticeable difference with f1.8 vs f2.8? Thanks!
I was going to comment the same. Please i need that comparison. Because, in high end cameras like a7riv and a7rv, its easy to crop and reframe upto 24mm @26megapixel photos. And i already have coverage for 24mm and above.
@@duchu1987I guess. But I am very happy that of all the things they could have skimped on at this price, it is the lens hood that is "bad". This lens hits so much above its price tbh

What would be your recommendation for astro and landscape? Viltrox 16mm1.8 or sony 20mm1.8? Which performs best at f1.8 and which is best on f13?

Lens hood is very poor. Weight is important.
Elaborate about the hood
@@Wistbacka it's very loosy. Easy to accidentally move on lens and be visible on pictures.
