    I think this was the only episode where I liked BOTH celebrities together

    They were such gentlemen in those days( standing for a lady and helping with her chair) just plain polite! Never see that anymore

      But did you notice that he sometimes asked women if they were married and then asked what their husbands did?

      @@saraheaston9876 So everloving what if he did?!? In 1964 women were glad to be married so that they could stay home and be housewives. Most women did NOT want to be in the workaday world.
      Not until the nasty creatures of the NOW-gang emerged and helped ruin the nation did being a housewife and a mother become a "baaaaad" thing.

      @@gusloader123 Dear me! You misunderstood me I think. My mother, an extraordinarily intelligent woman, was a stay at home housewife who managed the household budget, made clothing for my eleven siblings and me and was an excellent cook. She did the laundry and maintained a vegetable garden.
      She was also very well read. When my father built a sail boat in the basement, she researched the sails and made them (main, jib and spinnaker). When the youngest of my siblings was out and about, she went back to the university and got a second bachelor’s degree and a master degree in piano pedagogy. She taught piano in the preparatory department of the university until she was found to have a terminal illness and died.
      This is not to disparage my father. He taught us to use power tools and how to design various things. He also was well read and we grew up hearing our parents discussing books. His great interest was airplanes. We made planes that had remote control engines and we went to the park to fly them. He was an engineer who loved to paint and to sing.
      My point was that they were a team and both made significant contributions to their marriage. They had each other’s backs. I just noticed that the married women on that show were not asked about their contribution to their marriage. I assume they didn’t sit around eating bon bons and watching tv.

    Could have been:
    01. "Twain" (for "mark");
    02. "Bottle" or "vial" (for "flask");
    03. "Buddy" (for "pal");
    04. "Infatuation" (for "crush");
    04. "Deposit" (for save).
    Muhammad Ali was still Cassius Clay, then.

    The first female contestant Sandra Powers looks a bit like actress Nancy Olson of Sunset Boulevard fame.

      Chris N. --- Maybe you should read a cookbook before posting such silliness. (Who gave your post a "Thumbs Up ???).
      The slice of bread is dipped into a liquid-eggy solution in a bowl , ( making it "soggy" ) , then the bread in put in a frying pan and cooked. If you cannot afford a cook book, then visit a free cooking website page and get an education!

    Not a bad game. A few of the clues made NO sense to me (or to F.H. or H. O.).
    What did "grass" have to with "Scale"? 🤔 { Unless the contestant was trying to say "gross" as in "gross weight", maybe? It came out "grass" both on the audio and on the "CC" device. }
    Password "Mark" I would have said "Matthew". Then "Luke", Then "John". iirc, F.H. did an albums of Hymns once, so she might have figured it out.
    Lightning round: H.O ( who played in a "Western" TV series) should have said "Cattle" for the word "Ranch" instead of starring at the word. That was very weird. { Almost as strange as Eddie Albert ( of Green Acres fame) starring at the word "Farmer" in the lightning round and having "Brain Freeze on Live TV. 😴 }

      I still call them Airline Stewardess because I have male hormones and do not listen to the Disco gunk or wear pastels.
