In my view there is no such thing as THE BEST RUGGED PHONE EVER. Many people who uses rugged phones have reasons for doing so and your specific reason aquiring one wil determine which one will be best for you. I recently acquired the Ulefone Power Armor 19T and compairiing it to the Doogee V20 Pro gives me a number of reasons why for my needs the Ulefone easily preferable over the Doogee.
@@hakeem6929 I took the 19T because where I live there is not much value in buying a 5G phone. There senseless in paying more for the 5G 18T while the 19T is just as good but only 4G. Up to now I am VERY satisfied with the 19T. Am quite any 18T user will feel the same about that phone too.
@@beadsman13 The 19T's thermal image is good up to 50 meters, less so beyond that and useless beyond 100 meters, mainly because its thermal camera does not have a zoom function. For me this is sufficient, for I never require thermal imaging beyond 50m. However, if you require it for more than 50m you should consider the 2 rugged phones that currently have the best thermal imaging: the AGM G2 Gaurdian and the Doogee V20 Pro- both with thermal imaging ranges of between 500 and 1000m (I assume both of them must therefore have thermal cameras with zoom in function). I did not consider any of them, because their batteries are smaller than the 19T (6000 and 7000mAh vs 19T's 9600mAh). For me the battery size was more important than thermal imaging itself. In the end it is all about your specific need and finding the best balance between all the functions you desire from your rugged phone. If 6000 to 7000 mAh battery size is sufficient for you, then the mentioned AGM and Doogee phones will be better than the 19T for their excellent thermal imaging capabilities.
Will you reviewers stop exaggerating? Not the best cameras, not the best processor, small battery, no headphone jack that I saw, only 2k video recording, not the best rugged phone ever made, my first doogee, the s96 pro speaker is rooted night vision was poor and the batman phone had very bad night vision, I think the v30 pro is much better but I don't trust that doogee will perform.
Would have liked to hear about the thermal imaging more. This phone is touted to have a the highest resolution on the market for thermal imaging so I would have thought that at least you would talk about that feature
@@dimosthenisstamatatos3260 Amazon has the V20 Pro on sale for $475 right now. I wish I knew more info on the thermal imaging camera. I was gonna by a plug in but this may be a better deal?
Hey I just wanted to let you know for future reference that you pronounced the phone company wrong it's not Doo-gee or better yet not pronounced Doogie like as in Doogie Howser. It's pronounced Doo-jee like if you were to pronounce the letter "G" by itself.
Don't buy. 6 months in and I have to replace the phone case. Not as rugged as it should be. Customer service takes about a week to reply to anything. Ask for a return and they don't reply at all. Camera is ok. Thermal imaging is laggy. I would not recommend this to anyone. If your USA T-Mobile is your only carrier to work with this phone as well.

@@Johnnie-s5 i owned a Doogee V10 before. Build quality is superb, soft dropped couple times, phone just fine. I never really went swimming or whatever with it. Battery last as much as you with it would. Once i went to my grandpa funeral with 75% battery, left with 27% on the 3rd day with normal use. I actually prefer the IPS LCD over amoled cause they last longer, less hustle, and color quality arent much to complain about. The only things i hate about it is the very basic android, no "beauty" on it. Everything works as you want a phone would. The only rugged phone i used to see people complain about is oukitel and blackview. Oukitel with mic issues, and blackview with ghost touch issues. But i never owned them.
The phone is not as tough as it seems I broke the screen twice already. I'm very disappointed. After changing the screen the screen the phone never functions properly. I am using it with the hairline crack in the middle. Problem with these phones you can't get parts right away and have to wait weeks. I'm almost tempted to buy a mainstream phone because of that problem. I bought a rugged phone thinking it will last but it doesn't. My BlackBerry never broke a screen.
Don't spend your money on this device, I'll give you the reasons why. 1 the front camera has excessively yellowish tones, the main rear camera even takes good photos, but when we zoom in on the photo the quality is the most horrible it can be, in night mode both the front and main cameras lose a lot of quality and They are very grainy, the device's screen, despite being AMOLED, is exaggeratedly saturated, the Radio application does not work correctly, the only update that Doogee has available, does not even correct any of these problems. I've had the device for 2 months and every day I like it less and feel robbed by the Brand. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BRAND, AS THE DEVICES ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY THE BRAND CHARGES. Here is the advice given.

Great review. Does FM radio works fine without any headphone wires ? (As the jack plug is not implemented in this model)
Thanks for this!!!
Is there an attachment for head gear if you want to wear it at night and use the thermal camera for hands free?
Oh yeah, this is insane. Love the camera support with the device and they use good Mediatek chips as well in these devices.
The V20 Pro is indeed a great choice for anyone looking for a rugged phone that looks nice too
@@survivalgearofficial The only good thing about Doogephones are FAKE REVIEWS!!! Good camera!...who are you kidding?
How does the V MAX compare?

The U.A. 19 T its good but...the speaker goes dump if goes water in. This never happened to :
Agm glories, RAPTOR, DOOGEE V20 PRO
Wondering if the Mediatek Dimensity 700 on the Doogee V20 Pro is power-efficient. Need a phone with a long-lasting battery life.
With its 7000 mAh battery you can expect 3 days of battery.
No one phone last more than 2 days. Thermal is energy eater
No phone last more than 2 days if you have thermal open for a while, internet and 5-6 hours TH-cam
There are plenty of rugged phones with much bigger batteries but they are heavier
