Ever since it came out in 2005, it has been my childhood dream car... I still can't get over the fact that Audi cheaps out some options for the US spec models like parking sensors for front and rear, rear sun shade, rear entertainment where those really should be standard on an executive luxury sedan.
MrCurry looking to purchase an 08 a6 3.2 quattro with 93k miles 1 owner car , what are your thoughts on that as an owner , how is the reliability, any issues ? Thanks
A 2013 A6 2.0T FWD starts at $42,200. It's roughly $5,000 less than a 528i (which also has a 2.0T). A 2014 E350 is the most expensive at $51,900 to start but you do get 302 hp with a V6. The A6 is actually even cheaper than the Infinit M35, Lexus GS350, and Acura RLX by 5-6 grand. The only thing cheaper is the Lincoln MkS which is $40k to start. Honestly, we'd recommend to go with Quattro and the 8AT for $44k and it still undercuts rivals. Surprisingly, Audi has good value here with their A6.
Hugo Zuniga I disagree, she is probably closer. That engine sounds horrible. I owned this car and mine does not sound like that. That engine sounds like the cylinders are damaged.
my dad had a 2006 Audi A6 with the 4.2 V8 engine. It was a nice car. With AWD also it had the push button start. And it did not had a backup camera. But it had backup sensors.
The S6 and RS 6 of this C6 generation A6 had some insane engines, both V10s. I mean the S6 had the 5.2L V10 and the RS 6 had the 5.0L V10, both from Lamborghini, and I believe they're both from the Gallardo (or at least variants of that engine). I personally love the C7 generation of the A6, that's my favourite generation A6.
Bekzod Ibragimov I know I'm late but have had my 05 A6 Quattro since 07 it is extremely reliable. Just now at 120k I am replacing the shocks because the roads where I live have beat up the old ones. Highly recommend the car just be on top of maintainance.
if you want a luxury sedan that wont cost you thousands in repairs, get a lexus. sure they dont get amazing mpg, unless you get a hybrid, they won the jd power award 5 years in a row, and they've won way more than that in total
Nice video and handsome car. When you said it has a CVT I about crapped my pants. But that Audi CVT was amazing; it mimicked shifts almost perfectly and any non driving enthusiast would probably think it's a standard auto.
Yeah my had a 2006. Audi A6 with the 4.2 V8 engine. He was feeling like the 3.2 V6 was a little under power. And then he had a 2009 Audi A5 2 door with the 3.2 V6. Now he has a 2012 Audi A6 with the 3.0T Superchange V6. But next year his lease will be up. So he will get a new car next year. So i think he will just get a other Audi. He always wants to get the new models. So i think he would love to get a Audi A8. Or any type of the new Model's from Audi!!
Ichi DaKilla Well i got news he did not get a Audi now he has a 2015 Hyundai Genesis with the 3.8 V6 with Htrac AWD and with top of the line ultimate Pkg. He got it back in Dec the week before Christmas. So yeah he went from a Audi to a Hyundai that he loves the Hyundai it's a very nice car!!
The missing parking camera is not in fact a glitch but an extra. Too bad that Audi didn't provide this generation with the 3.0 TDI in America because it is one amazing engine. Maybe it was the stereotype that Americans don't like diesels (though they seem to love them in the pickups) or I don't know. But all in all, it is a great car and a review.
My mom has this car and she's had many problems... Bad oil leak , her belt broke after 2000 miles her tires wear completely too fast she's already had 2 new tires... Her parking break wouldn't release for some reason ... Oh yea and terrible on gas! I mean the car is beautiful but it comes with way too much
A few of those issues can highly likely be user wear. Not properly aired tires, bad alignment gone unfixed, excessive acceleration. The oil leak can easily be a lousy mechanic not tightening up properly after oil change.
I have the 2008 Audi A6 SLine it’s expensive to repair of course, but I haven’t any transmission issues at 150k it stutters on cold starts and engaging in reverse at times but nothing major seems normal

Weird this one had no parktronics (parking sensors), but that might be because Audi let people choose numerous options, instead of ready trim packages. Like mine is the simplest of all - no folding mirrors, the most basic MMI (no blutooth, no CD changer, no navigation, small screen), no armrest in the front middle and no cap holder in the back, yet it has heating for all seats, parking sensors, cruise control and xenon lights.

It is wrong that the size of the Trunk is the same between A4 and A6. A6: 546 l A4: 480 l (Avant: 490 l) The 3.2l Badge is Correct because the Engine has more than 3100ccm. In Germany you have to pay taxes for 3200ccm -> 3.2l Was the 3.2l tralla The base Model? Didn‘t Audi offer the 2.0T, 2.4 or 2.8 FSI in the usa? The 3.2 was the worst Engine of the A6

CJBMAGGOT94 ffs u just changed my
Mind about buying one of those lol ..I live in Canada and I do need AWD for snow
It is wrong that the size of the Trunk is the same between A4 and A6.
A6: 546 l
A4: 480 l (Avant: 490 l)
The 3.2l Badge is Correct because the Engine has more than 3100ccm. In Germany you have to pay taxes for 3200ccm -> 3.2l
Was the 3.2l tralla The base Model? Didn‘t Audi offer the 2.0T, 2.4 or 2.8 FSI in the usa?
The 3.2 was the worst Engine of the A6
Christian Schüller 3.0T best engine
Don’t know what kinda A6 you in I have a 3.2 Quattro and I’ve put cameras in the DUST MY SHIT RUNNING SOUND OF ITS LAMBORGHINI SISTER😂😂
