I made my living ski patrolling. People don't generally think of us unless they are in trouble. A store had a special deal for first responders. I told them I patrolled. The response was a surprised look and a "I never thought of that". Many people think we just have fun. ( there WAS a lot of that ) . This cute show brought back memories of living in the mountains!

Been looking for this Disney short for decades. Never forgot the big black cat on skis chasing the St. Bernard - terrified me as a small child watching it in the theater. Must have been prior to the Snow White reissue.

Yeah, she married a trust funder and spent her evenings drinking at the Caribou! Last I heard she is in a Denver rehab facility with her gold ski medal and a new St. Bernard pup!
