Shipper lost my trailer for 2-1/2 hours causing me to hit morning rush hour at my destination this morning and all I can hear in my head is Dave's voice "Thaaat's truckin." Haha!😄
I recognize that terminal as the former Heartland Express yard. They bought out Millis Transfer and built a new facility in Burleson. I wondered what was gonna happen with that place
I knew Seagoville sounded familiar, that’s our old yard(Heartland Express). We just ended up consolidating both millis and heartland trucks down at our newly remodeled Burleson Terminal. Hope you guys enjoy it!
be carefull out there!.my friend bought his first truck after 30 years he bought a long nosed fancy pete and he dyed 2 weeks ago he was forced off road by a new driver he veered right tire caught shoulder and he whent over a embankment with 80000lbs.what i understand the truck passing him pullled into him like he wasnt there he had nowhere to go but right when tire caught shoulder it sucked him in then it was all over
Your trucking videos got me into wanting to drive semi. I already had my cdl-a but had no desire to use it until I started watching your videos. I almost went to CFI to work there but ups allowed me to transfer to our semi department from where I was before, it was one of the best thing I have done for work. Thank you for helping me find something I really enjoy
Where are the self driving trucks taking over? Not a single one actually out there doing work. It’s all prototypes under special conditions. Self driving trucks are just a pipe dream and a way for R&D employees to stay employed.
Hey Dave, been watching your content for a while now every since you first started with cfi in fact. I wanted to take some time and thank you and Billie Joe for putting content out there for us. I also wanted to reach out and ask for any advice you may have from one driver to a starting driver. I know alot of things come with experience but I wanted to see if you have any advice from some of your experiences.
Great vid guys! Enjoy watching your stuff! I'm so ready to get out there with my finisher! Oh, and your jeep is sitting pretty right there in the parking lot at CFI! Can't miss that dang thing! LOL! Looking forward to meeting ya'll one day!
I'm fresh out of CDL school (community College-instructed), Class A holder. CFI said I either have to go through their school (?) or go get 3 mos exp before they'll hire.
Hey Dave! Love the videos. A while back you posted a video saying you were quitting CFI and now you're back on the road with Billie Joe. Are you employed by CFI or are you just going out on the road with her? Thanks!
@@iamReddington I got to talk to him at the terminal in Joplin while he and Billy joe were there a few weeks back he wasn’t originally being paid but now he’s being paid to do the videos because he brings in so many new drivers to the company.
Seen you pulling transport America trailer guess they haven’t changed to cfi yet. I am on dedicated account ppg. Off on covid. Leave. Be safe. May see ya in north Jackson.
How do they get a truck out of that safety ramp? Thanks for sharing your journey. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your love for each other.
We HAD to run through the inspection lanes at EVERY West Side Transport terminal I came through just make sure all trailers were on par, no if, ands or buts allowed.
I found your channel because of Jeff Favignano and I already love the content. Keep up the great work and I wanted to say thank your for making sure things get to where they needed to be even on the holidays. Also what is the relationship with you and the chick you ride with?
I got the same question Dave are you drive in any point or you just enjoy the ride and get paid as a recruiter for CFI? thanks and God bless both of you 🙏
Hey Dave and Billy Joe.I have 2 questions. 1. Does CFI offer cdl training and is it paid or unpaid? 2. Dave this is you my man is it better to team drive or go solo I really want to team drive but I would prefer it to be with someone I know I'm not sure on the matching situation for cfi or any company really! Appreciate both of yall stay safe!! 💯
I have a question about the Seagonville yard that this video shows you’re at. Why are there so many trucks that are sitting in the yard? Is it due to the drivers being on Hometime or they don’t have drivers to drive the trucks?
When you are backing under a trailer, drop the airbags until your 5th wheel is under the trailer. That way you don't scrape off your 5th wheel grease all over the front of the trailer. 😀. Reinflate before you get to the kingpin.
was going to say the same thing , also i hop out let the trailer down so when lift the airbags the legs come up a bit of the ground then not that hard to wind
Did you have to serpentine or was part of test when I took mine in Ohio was required. But haven’t needed to use it been holding steering wheel 30 yrs. work for transport America but they are going to cfi transport was bought out Fti owns cfi / transport/xpo /2divisions of ups. And flat bed division in alabama
Next time you’re at King’s try their onion burger, I thought it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Although they may have been butchering the cow it took so long.
I was just wondering do you ever drive are you team drivers or are you just a passenger for her to take across country. I asked my son who is an OTR trucker and he said if you are team driving you do not have to take a ten hour break by stopping someplace you only have to stop for your 30 minute shift break. Please answer all of us who keep asking these questions. I will say that she is doing an outstanding job and is very professional.
Hah, everyone wants to see Dave drive. The real question is how the numbering scheme on those Transport America trailers works. I mean, by now we all know the 3, 4, 5 thing for the CFI Hyundai trailers, but how does that line up with TA?
Try Wings over seagoville comes off u.s. 175 on seagoville. Got good chicken wings. Bobtail

You are absolutely right about traffic merging.
I recognize that terminal as the former Heartland Express yard. They bought out Millis Transfer and built a new facility in Burleson. I wondered what was gonna happen with that place
Never seen the emergency 🚨 ramps used. Good to see they work
That 10 roads driver is the player character in the simulation so he gets to do what he wants
Thanks for taking us along, Dave and Billie Jo. I really enjoyed the ride. Stay safe:)
Good driving skills for sure, appreciate your sacrifice and grind to keep our country going🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

He's gotta be doing team driving. So she drives during the day and he will drive at night.

Have you even been in Atlanta yet? Dallas is a dream compared to that. Heck, even Los Angeles rush hour traffic is better than Atlanta.

The truck overtaking at 3:40, is it pulling a container chassis ?
No that's an extendable set up for hauling oversize loads. Think logging truck.

Is really meaning for interchange? I’m just learning for my cdl
Dallas is the worst city for traffic?? Try LA, the bay area, Chicago, ATL, Newark/NYC.
Dave is that a T-680 you and Billie jo are driving, if so how do the ride and what kind of transmission does it have?
Hi Dave, say partners whats your drivin'? Is it KW? is so what type? Happy New Year, take care now.
Whats the name of that GPS on the dash and how do you like it?
What's the difference with white and blue tucks? are they local or something and red OTR?
Blue is Transport America
CFI has white trucks could be theirs or Transport America's
Hope that helps
