I don't even play Mal'Damba but i still found this video really entertaining!! For a video idea you should do a guide on positioning and what to do when getting flanked or something, i usually struggle with these the most and would love to see a guide on how to position better and what to do etc. :)
Its nice to see im not the only one who struggles with judging the gourd distance from time to time lol. I really like damba just for that sense of accomplishment you get from finishing a game knowing you actually did something and werent heal bottings a seris, similar feeling when you do well with combat medic pip.
Thanks for the great vid! I’ve been playing a lot of ying lately and your tips for her helped tremendously, and I’m sure these tips will help for damba. I’ve been scared to play him since I know he’s tricky but I’d love to get good at him
hey i love ur videos they are very helpful especially because you dont see that much paladins content nowadays let alone support focused videos keep grinding away at the content, i know gonna blow up someday (:
For me i usually like to have eerie presence at 4 in most builds because his ult is so so SO good and its hard to use badly. Another reason is that morale boost is not a buy for me on damba when i use eerie presence compared to ying and lillith. Also i luv ur vids!!!
I agree that having your gourd heal twice is not worth losing the damage. I don't play him that much, because I lack the skill and practice for him, but whenever I'm playing Tank or have to be at the point where the enemy's gourd is on, the damage is a nightmare to keep an eye on. You truly think it's not that much damage, but it adds up so fast that if you are caught off guard, it makes you way easier to kill. It definitely forces me to reposition in some cases. That said, I've definitely fell into the "moving to where the gourd is". A Damba really can make you move like that 🤣! I've played against and with good Mal'dambas, and they are a force to be aware of!
You buy deft hands first item? Dambas stun is a huge bait. If u buy deft hands for more stuns then you give the enemy team insane resil value which makes his ult useless. Chronos and nimble are the two first items a damba buys. Ans posession is also a must have lvl 5 card. It's basically haven 3 for the whole time
Damba is one of those healers that makes me feel uncomfortable when I see someone lock him in... They're either gonna be amazing and carry, of I'm not gonna get healed the entire game ;-;
I'm gonna test this out and get back to you so I can make sure what I am saying is accurate! But I use feed the spirits but like I said that can be subed in for whatever card the person wants, and spirits touch is GREAT for a dmg damba, I can see where it can be a good filler too :D
People think I use KbM for how precise I am with his healing. However I play on console, he's not that difficult at all even with a controller and can be one of the best healers.
Amazing video
This made me tear up, thank you so much 🥲

also as i was watching i noticed at 14:26 the io was just floating around after she jumped? was that lag or an ability or what?
Thank you so much! And the Io movement is a card, she is running the card Sky Walker, it is a really fun card try it out!

yeah but resilience? if they look at your build they just gonna buy resilience no?
@@dodonpa-1 that's a given with playing damba at all tho.
@@totodile_ ok im a bit new lol
He may be complex, but he's always been my favorite support to play. Thanks for the tips!

Whaaaaa I've been playing since console closed beta and didn't know you can reactivate the ult mid air! :0
Thanks so much!!
Because u wasn't able to do this... that is new...
@@XLORDPROPL No actually it has been around for years! It's just something a lot of people don't know and it's super useful ^-^

Subtenance is a great card. Increasing your healing received applies to yourself and from others. Its like one of Pip's best cards called Moxie.
Feed The Spirits is a filler at best that you don't really need. the buffs, slither cards, and subtenance are most useful for damba.
Spirit's Touch is a good card to have as filler as main support damba and good card for dmg damba level 3-4.

I love snake pit, I religiously use movement speed cards and anyone I play
i have damba at lv 80 and had no idea you could stop damba's ult by refiring lmao
