If you were going to continue with the patterns and same colors, would you get new rope each time? I've tried a skull hanging using just grey and natural cord and kept cutting new pieces for each color changes now I wonder if I could have just kept going with the cords without cutting them if that makes sense. 🤔
The base I had at probably 50 inches and the working cords I always cut to 10x the total length I want that section to be! For example if i want a 4 inch long section of pink i cut that string to 40 inches total.
Either way- I usually use string on the base most of the time too so I can brush it out into fluffy fringe! But if you use rope at the base you can leave it instead of combing at the bottom and it will look a bit more modern/minimalist
I usually cut each string 10x as long as I want that section to be for that color! For example if I want the pink section to be 4 inches long I cut the string to 40 inches!

Love the tutorial! What rope measurement did you use for the base and working cord?

What mm of cord do you usually use for a landscape? Big fan of your work! :)
I was also wondering if you recommend using rope for the base and string for the colors?

I was wondering how long you normally would cut your cords for a landscape piece?
