I had a few colleagues from Vietnam and those who born here, all of them are the kindest and modest people I've known. But I feel bad when people say they don't complain. It feels like their attitude is taken for granted and their needs not addressed.

I mean i understand your concerns. But Vietnam degrees do teach differently, and the students may be not familiar with the equipments, procedures ,etc compared to what they have in a developed country. It’s always better to learn and re-view the materials over as if they’ve already studied. They will pick up pretty fast. Plus the process will help them to learn the language too, right?

Very good that Germany requires the individual to learn the language immediately. As long as the individual, no matter where they are from, are qualified, licensed and legal, the individual should be able to work anywhere in the world. Most important is to learn the language of the country they reside, in order to assist the patients and customers effectively. Unfortunately, many such workers are taken advantage of, very long hours, some pay is withheld and push back from some in the community. As well, some individuals come with false medical and work history documents, so proper pre-employment investigation is a must, especially when working with patients or the elderly. Caution for both sides.

Because nurses like her earn less than 200 Euro/month, which is barely above poverty line. Working in Germany she can send at least 500 Euros/month home to support her poor family. Our health care system is extremely overcrowded, a nurse in Vietnam has to work a lot harder than one in Germany. Longer hours, less pay, inhumane treatment from employer and patients. She's lucky she got to Germany to be honest, probably had to pay a lot of money for work visa to get out of Vietnam too. If you want to know more about workers going overseas, you should research topic where 39 dead Vietnamese were found in container in England. Dark stories.

There are lots of jobs in Europe, America, or Australia which local people don't want to do. So these nations will hire workers from other countries, low-life contries from asia to cover jobs. Otherwise, these labours hope they can get money from those jobs, send it to their family or bring their bloodline aboard. While Chinese people (Taiwan, Japan, Korea) do not or if they do, they are very few. Chinese people have eyes typical of East Asian people (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong). So don't say Vietnamese people are like Chinese people. That's nauseating and insulting to us.

Woooow. That’s something very shocking to say and totally unnecessary. It’s only difficult to learn for some people and certain cultures. Here in England it’s quite easy to learn by comparison as it is a language that is so similar to our own in many areas. Literally many other words are simply different versions of our own same words with only slight spelling changes. As a result it is incredibly easy for us to remember some words, even after many years out of practice. The language 30 doesn’t need to be reformed just to make it ‘easier’ for outsiders.
