This was a well-constructed short film! The background music, the shots (literally too) and the twists were amazing! I felt that perhaps we could have gotten a little more intro with all the characters at the start to set-up the various interpersonal connections going around, kinda like a brainmap, but appreciate the non-linear narration to keep us hooked! and Shout out to Desmond, our first casualty, for killing it!

I’m damn near speechless, truly. Seeing the growth and evolution of this channel and y’all as humans is something special. The roach is still one of my favorite videos and this is such an incredible start for what’s to come.
Only criticism i can give is probably leaving a few more messages subliminally instead of telling us. Like when Dylan is saying their guns are fake, instead of him outright saying a line like that, let the audience deduce that’s what’s happened with the guns. I like the direction, the message and acting has gotten so much better. Keep it up, these short films are going to be gold the more yall work!
Another critique is foreshadowing that Mark gave out the fake guns earlier. Sort of like they did to Berleezy. The camera panned to his face once earlier which setup the scene where we see him kill Ipi and Desmond.
This was sooo good. I loved all the classic heist tropes and betrayals and even meta moments. Ya'll never fail to amaze me, I hope to see more like this.

I like the premise and the continual unfolding. The cool thing about short films is that you can really focus the parts you want to tell while still maintains high immersion with good writing. Looking forward to more ☺️ Edit: In terms of constructive criticism, having some allusion to the two twist characters (the cop and Berleezy) at the end would make the piece stronger. Since the cop was brought in by John, there’s potential to explore/further strengthen the distinction of best friend from the others. I think for stories where things are cyclical (or set up like a Russian nesting doll) having as many elements resonate across the plot makes the story stronger. Keep it up y’all!

RDC one of the most versatile and goated creators out there. Original content, no drama, and genuine friendship. 🐐 11:56 Only form of constructive criticism I got for this film is the length. It's a 10/10 vid, but I wish it was longer. All in all, I understand the time, effort, and cost that comes with making these films. Eventually y'all will be dropping movies 💯

I wasn't expecting 40 minutes but I definitely thought It would be around 20-25 minutes (Kinda like Anime House 5 length). The longer the film, the more engaging the scenes and dialogue would've felt (It was still very good, y'all please don't trip) and I liked the ending, I didn't say anything about changing the scenes. Like I said 10/10 vid. Just constructive criticism like Mark wanted.

Yooooo, yall i loved it! Incredibly entertaining! Constructive criticism: be careful to make sure the order of events make sense. Yall did a fanatastic job throughout the whole video. One of the few instances was yall put the masks on at the beginning after yall walked in and had walked past a couple cameras. It can affect the immersion and believability in the scene. Again, great job, yall. It was great to watch. Great camera work, great script, great acting, great musical accompaniment(yall already know the OST is highly important for setting the mood and controlling the audiences emotions. Overall was highly succesful.
very proud of yall and what you've done. my only critique is to invest in a choreographer/stunt coordinator. They aren't just for dance routines. All the gun scenes and fight scenes in these movies look so clean because a choreographer is mapping out everything and taking it from a vision and putting it into realism. Some of the shooting aspects in the heat of the moment seemed off or sloppy and it's just cause we needed a different, trained eye to help out with it. overall this was a great short story and every one did so well! i love it.

@@ki11acam_23 I think a stunt coordinator would've made the sloppiness a little more realistic. Like an amatuer bank robber probably wouldve ran and ducked behind something before actually shooting. At 9:40 they just stood there shooting and it made it look like they were acting
I ain’t gonna lie this was fire better than other bank robbery 3 hour movies. Had a plot. A twist at the end and had a plan that was executed even if it was falling apart they made it work. Respect RDC been with y’all since the beginning and watched y’all expand so far.
I think their acting has gotten so much better dawg. They're killing it! Only thing i would say is to get some musical scores in place to get the audience even more immersed into the action. Like when Desmond switched up you could play some errie/ominous music to insinuate that something bad is happening.

Only actual critique I have is that the post-processing effects need some more tweaking. Not just for the bloom during outside shots, but for gun shots and wounds/blood and stuff like that. And it was a little confusing at first, story-wise, but I'd say it's still some good writing so far. I genuinely wish you guys luck in the future :)
Praises: Man ya came a long way! I love all the heist movie tropes with the plan breaking down, the constant twists and betrayals! Mark, Ipi and Des felt natural in their roles. Des might be the next Danny Trejo cause he's always really believable. Watching it a second time, the way you guys hinted at some twists, it was really well written. Overall there wasn't any unnecessary info, the lighting was great, and the short felt like a big budget project Constructive criticism: First, someone else said it but I think a stunt coordinator would've helped make the shootout a little more realistic like at 9:40 Mark and Leland just stood there instead of taking cover which made it look like ya were acting and knew you weren't in danger. Second, when Ben walks out the bank, you see the cameraman in the reflection. Instead of a 90 degree angle, if you shoot it at 45 degrees and/or zoom in on his face more, you'll get the cameraman out of frame and can get more shock out of him getting shot

11:56 Only form of constructive criticism I got for this film is the length. It's a 10/10 vid, but I wish it was longer. All in all, I understand the time, effort, and cost that comes with making these films. Eventually y'all will be dropping movies 💯

I wasn't expecting 40 minutes but I definitely thought It would be around 20-25 minutes (Kinda like Anime House 5 length). The longer the film, the more engaging the scenes and dialogue would've felt (It was still very good, y'all please don't trip) and I liked the ending, I didn't say anything about changing the scenes. Like I said 10/10 vid. Just constructive criticism like Mark wanted.

@@ReaIities that’s if u have literally everything u need. we know that they don’t have that type of equipment yet which is most likely why they made rdcuniverse so those funds can go to better equipment for more skits, short films and stuff like anime house and video game house.

Constructive criticism: be careful to make sure the order of events make sense. Yall did a fanatastic job throughout the whole video. One of the few instances was yall put the masks on at the beginning after yall walked in and had walked past a couple cameras. It can affect the immersion and believability in the scene. Again, great job, yall. It was great to watch. Great camera work, great script, great acting, great musical accompaniment(yall already know the OST is highly important for setting the mood and controlling the audiences emotions. Overall was highly succesful.

very proud of yall and what you've done. my only critique is to invest in a choreographer/stunt coordinator. They aren't just for dance routines. All the gun scenes and fight scenes in these movies look so clean because a choreographer is mapping out everything and taking it from a vision and putting it into realism. Some of the shooting aspects in the heat of the moment seemed off or sloppy and it's just cause we needed a different, trained eye to help out with it. overall this was a great short story and every one did so well! i love it.
Tbf I feel like the “sloppiness” adds to the realness of it yk? They’re supposed to be amateur bank robbers n stuff so it makes sense that they’d be moving a bit wild at times imo

I ain’t gonna lie this was fire better than other bank robbery 3 hour movies. Had a plot. A twist at the end and had a plan that was executed even if it was falling apart they made it work. Respect RDC been with y’all since the beginning and watched y’all expand so far.

I think their acting has gotten so much better dawg. They're killing it! Only thing i would say is to get some musical scores in place to get the audience even more immersed into the action. Like when Desmond switched up you could play some errie/ominous music to insinuate that something bad is happening.
Watching RDC is so nostalgic and seeing how far they've come is so inspiring! Keep ot up guys!

Only actual critique I have is that the post-processing effects need some more tweaking. Not just for the bloom during outside shots, but for gun shots and wounds/blood and stuff like that. And it was a little confusing at first, story-wise, but I'd say it's still some good writing so far. I genuinely wish you guys luck in the future :)

Praises: Man ya came a long way! I love all the heist movie tropes with the plan breaking down, the constant twists and betrayals! Mark, Ipi and Des felt natural in their roles. Des might be the next Danny Trejo cause he's always really believable. Watching it a second time, the way you guys hinted at some twists, it was really well written. Overall there wasn't any unnecessary info, the lighting was great, and the short felt like a big budget project
Constructive criticism: First, someone else said it but I think a stunt coordinator would've helped make the shootout a little more realistic like at 9:40 Mark and Leland just stood there instead of taking cover which made it look like ya were acting and knew you weren't in danger. Second, when Ben walks out the bank, you see the cameraman in the reflection. Instead of a 90 degree angle, if you shoot it at 45 degrees and/or zoom in on his face more, you'll get the cameraman out of frame and can get more shock out of him getting shot
