Oh, I totally feel you! 🫢 I’m honestly a bit disappointed in the 5-star too-it doesn’t feel quite as “5-star” as it should. Maybe it’ll grow on me over time, but for now, I really wish it had that extra wow factor.😭
Regarding the floating ability, I thing it is okay that it gives you a bit more speed (just like the fairy-outfit gives you more controle over the jump), and I would see this as a minor thing if compared to the fact that the gatcha outfits have significantly better stats than the other ones. When it comes to swimming, I would expect them to release it as a regional ability (Hoyo did something similar in Genshin when the changed how swimming works for Fontain, and haveing regional ability outfits is already in the game anyway). When it comes to make-up, I think it is kinda sad that we only have pink and red shades for lipgloss, my fairy NEEDS green lips...
Oh, true🤔 You’re so right about the scoring factor! I completely forgot how crucial that is in a dress-up game-higher scores really do make a difference. I hope the game continues to stay friendly for all types of players, though. And wow, your swimming idea has me so excited! If Genshin could do it, maybe we’ll see something similar here too. Also, I never realized how limited our lipstick shades are until you mentioned it-green lipstick for a fairy outfit sounds amazing! Now I want all the colors!😣
@@EvieGaming nah, your instinct was correct! When it comes to score, you should pretty quickly have a top scoring outfit in each category. So for score, if you need sweet you can wait and pull any 5* sweet dress and there won't be much difference between them, you don't even need to max your score to win contests so far anyway. This is assuming paper sticks to their old formula which didn't have much power creep, it's too early to tell but their previous games operated this way. For an ability though, you need to pull the one specific outfits and also wear it, it's much more limited than just aiming for a high score. Especially something like floating which you see half the time while exploring. It's a really bad sign that they're making limited outfits better than the normal one, and so early. I'm honestly concerned as a long time player of Nikki games cause they're acting pretty shady already.
If we get a swimming ability, I feel like it would be available only in a dedicated zone like the flower gliding outfit. I think i will pass for this one although I would have loved the decorative piece for photography 😊 . The only reason I would pull is that the 5 stars is a cool outfit and we desperately need one for styling battle 😅
Omg tysm, this video helped me a lot cause I was so indecisive about pulling or not and I think I'll only get the 4 star since I love lolita fashion. Also I would love to see you styling an outfit with this 5 star dress 😊

I’m so indecisive too-I used to avoid making decisions altogether🤣 Before making videos, I’d always ask my friends playing the same game if they were going to pull, and then take forever to decide myself! Saving for daughter of lake or whatever the name is (i forgot). since not much was given for rewards, as f2p i really need to plan which one i want to pull for full set since it takes so so much resources. Like about 180 for a full 5 star 9 piece outfit. Damn tough. I kinda want them to change to only 10 pull for 5 star because it is kinda hard to get resources for 180. Recolour is even worse.
@@felzebub1762 no, it's literally apart of the new update within the notice board and was mentioned multiple times for the preview of 1.1 update. Daughter of the lake and Pink Ribbon Waltz will be the next banner as mentioned in their official update.
Fr, it can be kinda demotivating to realize that getting just the one 5 star dress can take up to 200 pulls, much less the evolution recolors. They changed the pity for the 4 star only banners to be one 4 star every five pulls instead of the normal ten, so I'm coping that they'll change the 5 star pity from twenty to ten. It's sad but I don't really think they will, since rn there's sort of three reasons people would spend: to collect every single outfit, to get an evolution of an outfit, or to get the outfits in the shop. There could totally be other reasons (such as wanting to support the devs) but this is what I've seen for most people. I feel like by having the pity this high they thought it would encourage people to spend, and it probably is for most people, but it's making me even more selective with my pulls and given that pity isn't shared it's even less encouraging to throw random pulls at different banners, especially on outfits like this where I'm not crazy about a lot of parts of the outfit. I know I'm just one out of so many players, but it's kind of unlikely that I'm the only one who feels like this, so idk. Good luck getting the daughter of the lake one! (I also forgot what it's exact name is 😅)
I actually like the 5 star a lot although I get why others don't like it too much. Honestly, if I didn't have the fairy outfit I would pull for this one (gosh I really wish this was a gliding outfit rather than another floating)
I really think they should do 1 free daily pull, or every 2 days like in love nikki. Coz as f2p I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to do another pull, even on the permanent banner. Like it;s genuinely been a week since I've gotten 1 crystal to do permanent.
That's not worth it. U don't get an resonat crystal from Mira crown from what I've seen, unles you purchase it in shop, which is monthly, same for the resonate shop. I believe it's roughly 9, imagine only getting 9 free puls a month, u can't even get an outfit in a year. Obviously there's going to be events that offer more but realistically it would take an unbearably long time to get 1 outfit, let alone evolving them
@@Cookie-ox9dd it is the pinnacle contest sparklite store. You also get one revelation crystal per day for logging in from the log in events. There is the Mira journey as well which gives diamonds to turn into pulls. Diamonds should not be spent on resources or permanent crystals only revelation crystals. It is a very grind heavy game for sure
@@Cookie-ox9dd I think they mean you get the diamonds, which you get daily and from events/quest/exploration/mira crown/etc. It's still slow for us F2P, but more than 9. Just from doing dailies, you get about 22 a month. I definitely wish it were more, but I wanna make sure you know that you don't need the crystals themselves to pull, you can use the diamonds.
@SnazzySitara yes but I would rather save crystals for events, not the permanent, in order to get full pulls for event I would need to wait almost 10 months if not for other events adding crystal. In other words, for permanent I would also need to wait 10 months for full outfit of 5 star

I think this convinced me to pull for the 4 star! I like how this one looks in the overworld more than expected, even though it’s a long dress it doesn’t look too formal or out of place :D
Same! The four-star recolor is absolutely stunning-I think it’s my favorite out of everything in this banner too. I love the prop as well, but honestly, it’s hard to justify 160 pulls if you’re not into the main outfit🤔💕

Same here! I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the 5-star could use more of a wow factor-it’s a beautiful theme, but it feels like it’s missing something🙈. The 4-star is stunning, though! I wish it sparkled more at night-it might also depend on the lighting where I tried it on? Waiting to see what they announce next is such a smart idea! I’m doing the same on my f2p account. I might progress further in the story and, if I struggle with the Sovereign of Cool, I’ll consider pulling a bit for a piece. But I also lean toward saving for complete outfits since it’s a dress-up game after all haha!

I really like the 5 star ability outfit. It's super cute, I love all the paper crane stuff in the game and it feels like a nice upgrade from the bubble floating outfit.
The longer I look at the five star dress the more I think I like it lol. I really like it in the banner art and sometimes in-game but idk. I'm skipping it this time, I think, and I'm really excited to see the full versions of the teased four star sets and whatever comes after! I may try a couple of ten pulls but there's so many parts of the outfit I don't like on their own, and I would feel so sad getting a five star piece and never using it, yk? (What follows is somewhat-long and my opinion has sort of changed, so I've kind of edited places that I thought needed it.) I've realized through reflection that I don't have any problem with this dress, but before I could place the character it reminded me vaguely of I couldn't stop thinking about it and overlooked the uniqueness and prettiness of the outfit. (The hair (imo) reminds me of Maddie from EVA (I can't explain why, it just does and that hat just adds to that lol).) Like from the lower half, I can tell that this outfit is inspired by paper cranes really easily. The details are clear and the colors are similar to those of the paper cranes in-game. If I look at only the top half, I do still feel like the crane details are more subtle, which I also really like. Both halves do work well together, and it looks super cute in-game. I also like the little star details, I wonder if they're a nod to the event, or just the fact that paper cranes fly and the sky has stars in it? I kind of think the hair color may be very slightly too bright (hear me out, I could be wrong, but) the cranes in the dream warehouse are more of a powder blue or at least more dull than the sort of teal blue that the hair is. (Edit: When you look at them closer, they are closer to the color of the hair, but seeing as I don't have it, I can't do a color comparison. I want to be clear that I do love the outfit and think it's really adorable, but not my favorite out of the ones coming up/already released, I think) I said before the edits that the whimsy feeling they probably wanted for this outfit is really present, the resemblance to the character (to literally only me, myself, and I!) sort of detracted from the paper crane theming. It's just that earlier me was being ridiculous, as obviously this would only add to the look and literally nobody else would have thought that. The magical, whimsical feeling is expressed really well and I adore that. I just can't stop laughing like what was I thinking, why did this remind me so strongly of a show I haven't tought about in years? Also the sleeves being slightly puffy? I love the fact that this reminds me of wonderland so much. Also I absolutely adore the red evolution! It gives major queen of hearts vibes to me, which I love (but could never get 😔). It looks like the dress even has a sort of checkerboard pattern on the dress and stockings (which is a detail unique to that evolution!) and they add more "royal" golden detailing to the skirt! Yet again the side pony seems out of place for it, though, but it's at least more tolerable than the first two. I must say I do adore the ombre the hair gets in the final evolution, it's by far the best version of the hair imo. (Edit: I want to be clear that I do like the dress and I can be wrong about anything I've said. I also don't hate the hair or hat or anything, I think it all looks pretty! If anyone could do a comparison of the hair next to the cranes in the dream warehouse though, I would really appreciate it lol. It's something I'm so curious about haha. The outfit is so beautiful in camera mode) Sorry if I've made anyone upset with my opinions, these are just my quickly typed thoughts and at the end of the day my opinion doesn't matter to anybody but me 😅! I pulled unitl i had the 4 star. The hair is the shade of blonde I was waiting for!! So pretty. Until the end of the banner I will think about if I want the 5 star. It's nice because it's a whole 5 star cool outfit, so it can help with the competition.
Short answer: No. This 5 star outfit isn't any better than the Blooming Dreams and all the gimmick it has is that Nikki can step on a giant wishing crane and do a T-Pose for meme potential. Horrible outfit, the 4* outfit is worth pulling tho. I don't like the overall design and I felt it could have been better since it's a special outfit for the Florawish to represent this event and this is what they can come up with? Infold, do better with the designs. It's usefulness is that this outfit is one of the very first 5* with high cool stats. Overall, just skip if you have any 4* outfits from last gacha.
I probably wouldn’t have pulled if I wasn’t such a completionist🤔. I agree-our last two 5-stars felt more cohesive and thought-out in their design, while this one just doesn’t have the same spark😭. The 4-star is lovely, but I can’t help thinking we’ll see similar ones in the future. We already have so many gorgeous 4-star/SSR outfits in Shining Nikki, and yet we don’t style them often because they don’t immediately stand out. Also, the cool stat thing is tricky! Infold usually has a lot of tops and bottoms for cool attributes, so I maxed out the rare 5-star piece thinking it would match that pattern… and then they brought out a dress😅
Super informative video, I didn't know you could walk on PC by holding Ctrl! I don't love everything about these dresses, but the improved jumping is hard to pass up. Do you feel like it's game-changing enough that's it's necessary?
No I wouldn't vouch for anything unless you like it. The basic floating ability has to be able to complete all level obstacles at all times by default otherwise the game become p2w (pay to win) so what this outfit really gives you is just a comfort of play or a bonus aspect. It all narrows down to the outfit itself, if you love it go for it. Loving something is very important ❤ I think more important than pulling for purely ability bonuses or extra scores. Anyway, goodluck have fun! :)
You can now get the other Momo outfit that you didn't choose from the last Mira Journey. It's the same two as last time, so now everyone can choose the one they didn't choose the lat time
I think a swimming outfit is realistic with how they design ability outfits. They can often only be used in certain areas. So, they might design some underwater area where we get a swimming and diving outfit. That's of course limiting, but the game is just not designed like a metroidvania. Of course, before we get a swimming outfit, we need water proof makeup. That's the actual reason why Nikki immediately dies as soon as water even touches her face.
Even if it’s restricted to specific areas, I think that would still be amazing and so much fun! I really hope the devs are taking notes🥺. Also, LOL, you’re so right-waterproof makeup is now a must🤣💕

I think that’s a great strategy! If I weren’t a completionist, I’d probably only pull for a 4-star in a 5-star banner if I absolutely loved it and liked the 5-star. Or maybe if the 5-star makeup or Momo’s cloak are cute! Otherwise, I’d probably save and wait🤔.
The 5 star swan outfit is not bad, but its placement is as it came right after 2 amazing outfit and it has the theme and ability that already belongs to previous outfits that people pulled for they should have made it atleast a gliding outfit.

The design of the 5star is just not my type, the 4 star is cute but not enough to pull for when i dont like the 5star in that banner.....The floating looks pretty but i am fine for now with the Fairy floating. Also...yeah it was pretty clear that they will pull out ability outfits that are straight up better/faster/longer or whatever then the stuff u get in the story...but that they start with that already and AGAIN a floating outfit..not even 2 weeks after the last floating outfit (fairy) ended to make it already the weaker (and also the most annyoing) version???..meh that rly a bummer for me.
Is there ANY way to get the 4 star outfits that was/is/will be included in limited banners? I feel like they should be available in some way at least later on
When wearing the 4-star outfit [Starfall Radiance] and using the pose [Praying Hands], a shooting star will streak across the sky and you can find the pose in the grace section

For the store packs, all of the starlight gifts are def worth it with the cheapest having the most value, so if you don't have enough stellarites to get them all, make sure to get the cheapest ones first
I do have a question, on other Nikki games do they refresh the discounted packs? Because if it’s possibly something they do every major update, it’s nice they do that cause maybe the conversion trade off may be worth it if you get more pulls for less currency 😯
The intro dress is from Shining Nikki, and the dancing pose is called Rosemary Serenade. If you’re looking for something similar, there’s a blue skirt from a clothing sketch chest and a blouse from the banners-or you could mix and match with any top you like!🥰 I can’t recall the exact chest location right now (definitely not Florawish or Stoneville since I’ve already covered those in guides). But once I’m back home in early January, I plan to make a guide covering all the regions!💖
I LOVED the 5* outfit the sec i saw it, buy i wasnt gonna pull cause i already have the fairy one... But after seeing it is a cool outfit (wich i need cause im still using fishing outfit on battles) im gonna go for it.
I'm so sad about the gliding because I literally told them in the extremely long survey that I'm glad no gameplay features are hidden behind a paywall so far... Well, they didn't seem to listen
They aren't going to change their entire plan just for one player. It's likely never going to change from this unless they see a significant decline in players.
@@nicole2696It does make you faster for completing the eureka challenges quicker and easier though. The 2nd one is pretty tight normally on the timing to get the achievement for beating the hard version in under 2 minutes, whereas it’s noticeably easier to get within that time with the outfit. You don’t need it, but it does help.
I totally agree😭 It’s not that I hate the 5-star or anything, but it didn’t excite me the way previous outfits have🥺 I even got super excited for the froggy outfit last time, but this one felt like it was missing something💔 The details are beautiful, as always, but compared to the amazing launch outfits, it just didn’t wow me😅 If I weren’t such a completionist, I might’ve skipped it too🙈 The crane cage prop is stunning though-I’m obsessed with that!😍 For my F2P account, I’ll probably wait until I get stuck in Sovereign of Cool and decide then if I need to pull a few pieces to help with progression🤔 Thank you so much for your kind words and support, it means so much to me💕
Haha, I thought the same at first! But it turns out the dark blue version was hiding all the way at the end of the inventory for some reason. Maybe the “sort by recent” option in the game actually sorts by the order in which the devs created the items rather than when we obtained them?🤔

their tactic of saving the pretty colors for evolutions is a bad idea. they obviously want us to pull for recolors, but if they would just make the first stage pretty then more ppl would pull overall
They're both good/fine but I don't see either of them being something I'd reach for when assembling an outfit. The 5* is a bit too specific and doesn't lend toward mixing all that well, it really wants to be worn all by itself while the 4* is just not my taste despite how much I really like the accessories and overall palette of the look. Also I'm really hoping they'll do a Gacha set that isn't just a dress or one piece. They're all gorgeous but I'd like some tops, bottoms and outers. I'm completely fine saving my gems for the next banner.
I completely agree!💕 For the 5-star, I feel like it’s missing that “wow” factor🤔 It’s a beautiful set, but the pieces feel too tied to each other-like if you style just one piece, it still looks like part of the original set🙈 I’m thinking of challenging myself to take a 5-star outfit and style only one piece at a time when I have the time! That might be a fun way to test how versatile the pieces really are😅 As for the 4-star, I loved it in the pictures, but in-game, I was slightly disappointed because it wasn’t as sparkly as I hoped😭 Your idea of a gacha with basic pieces is genius! We really need more foundational items for styling different looks, especially in the open world🥺 I wish limited banners also came with more rare pieces. If the non-set pool had different items every time, I’d probably pull for those because they’re so useful!🥰
Man I was going to do it for the 4 star but now that I know it’s not its own banner and takes a lot more pulls compared last 4 star banners, sucks. Oh well. Save my diamond because I can’t buy anything in the game with real money.

@ Agreed, but like you I feel like that next 4 star outfits may turn out to be amazing. I will say I hate that my favorite outfit is fluttering storm, especially that last iridescent evolution. Why was it the first banner and my favorite evolution is the most expensive!!! Always said “I have champagne taste with a beer budget” but I don’t actively look for the most expensive thing. 😭
I got the dress and earrings so far I’m not big on gotcha games, but this game is relaxing enough to get into. I just wish it didn’t have the Gacha part.

Helpful video cause i always love seeing how the sets look in the actual game, decided not to get it, for me, after the amazing fairy outfit we just had this is like downfall... doesnt seem like a 5 star, gonna save for a future better 5star hoping they make prettier set with some more unique abilities
Makes sense to give a cool outfit as there wasn’t really a 5 set of that yet, but it is really underwhelming (also not at all what I’d consider cool lol).
Kinda same, it looks oddly cheaply made to me so I do not care for it aesthetically, but it’s ability makes you blatantly faster than the free bubble float outfit so that could be useful for future Eureka trials, and I needed a 5 star cool outfit, so I ended up pulling for it.
Honestly, same😭 I heard about floating on a paper crane before even seeing the pictures, and I thought, “That sounds SO cool! It has to be amazing, right?” But then I looked at the set, and I felt like they could’ve done so much more with the design😫 I think that the third and fourth recolors are the best versions, but they’re way too expensive💔 I don’t think I’ll be getting them. That said, I’m SO excited for CNY😍 I really hope the outfits won’t disappoint because we’ve had back-to-back events in Infinity Nikki, which isn’t something we used to have in Shining Nikki or Love Nikki🥺 Hoping they give us something truly special this time around💖

I can’t help but get a little overwhelmed with how many banners there have been and since I prioritized that super cute whimsy outfit with art motif I never got the last floating outfit so I was so stoked for ANOTHER floating outfit but I calculated that it would take almost 21k diamonds to pull it 😭
I feel like id be more inclined to pull if they added new 3 star items. I have multiples of all of them and pulling dupes 9/10 times means theres not even a tiny slither of joy most of the time. As a stubborn mf I'm not impulse pulling for dupes.
also they could have done so much more with a paper crane dress i loved the scene with the song so much it made me sentimental towards the paper crane symbolism but this fit is just not it
The floating effect is pretty, but the outfit itself imo is really basic and plain😞 the second recolour evolution is even more plain, like its kinda not worth it for 180 pulls
These fits arent really my vibe unfortunately and i hate waiting. But at least it gives me a lot of time to grind out the rest of the content and stock pile gems for the next upcoming banner which is Daughter of the lake and Ribbon Waltz. Daughter of the lake is suprisingly only a 4 star outfit so it will be easier to get thankfully. Im almost to 20k diamonds so i think ill be set
I really loved the 4-star when I first saw the pictures😍 but I was slightly disappointed when I noticed the dress isn’t as sparkly at night🥺 I feel like it should have more of a starlight vibe since it’s based on the Shooting Star Season. Pulling 80 or 90 times is a lot😫 so it really depends on how much you love the outfit💕 If you like the style, it might be worth considering, but if you’re into stars or shooting-star themes, the devs seem to treat Shooting Star Season as a New Year’s event. So there’s a good chance we might get more star-themed outfits every year around January 1!🤔 Just my speculation though, so make sure to follow your own judgment😊 If you decide to pull, I wish you the best of luck!💖✨

I think the 5 star is getting dragged down by the hair like it is just not a good color and i dont like the random side pony. it makes the sleeves and neckline look weird it should be an updo or a really pretty short hair

Regarding the floating ability, I thing it is okay that it gives you a bit more speed (just like the fairy-outfit gives you more controle over the jump), and I would see this as a minor thing if compared to the fact that the gatcha outfits have significantly better stats than the other ones.
When it comes to swimming, I would expect them to release it as a regional ability (Hoyo did something similar in Genshin when the changed how swimming works for Fontain, and haveing regional ability outfits is already in the game anyway).
When it comes to make-up, I think it is kinda sad that we only have pink and red shades for lipgloss, my fairy NEEDS green lips...

I hope the game continues to stay friendly for all types of players, though. And wow, your swimming idea has me so excited! If Genshin could do it, maybe we’ll see something similar here too. @@EvieGaming nah, your instinct was correct! When it comes to score, you should pretty quickly have a top scoring outfit in each category. So for score, if you need sweet you can wait and pull any 5* sweet dress and there won't be much difference between them, you don't even need to max your score to win contests so far anyway. This is assuming paper sticks to their old formula which didn't have much power creep, it's too early to tell but their previous games operated this way. For an ability though, you need to pull the one specific outfits and also wear it, it's much more limited than just aiming for a high score. Especially something like floating which you see half the time while exploring. It's a really bad sign that they're making limited outfits better than the normal one, and so early. I'm honestly concerned as a long time player of Nikki games cause they're acting pretty shady already.
I'm sure we'll get more variant colors of makeup, Shining Nikki took a long time to release green and blue lipstick! :)
If we get a swimming ability, I feel like it would be available only in a dedicated zone like the flower gliding outfit. I think i will pass for this one although I would have loved the decorative piece for photography 😊 . The only reason I would pull is that the 5 stars is a cool outfit and we desperately need one for styling battle 😅

As someone who didn’t get any floating 5 star outfit, I actually think this is really simple yet pretty.
If I wouldn't get the fairy outfit I would definitely go for this one. Although, I adore the dress so I might pull just for that XD
Saving for daughter of lake or whatever the name is (i forgot). since not much was given for rewards, as f2p i really need to plan which one i want to pull for full set since it takes so so much resources. Like about 180 for a full 5 star 9 piece outfit. Damn tough. I kinda want them to change to only 10 pull for 5 star because it is kinda hard to get resources for 180. Recolour is even worse.

Fr, it can be kinda demotivating to realize that getting just the one 5 star dress can take up to 200 pulls, much less the evolution recolors. They changed the pity for the 4 star only banners to be one 4 star every five pulls instead of the normal ten, so I'm coping that they'll change the 5 star pity from twenty to ten. It's sad but I don't really think they will, since rn there's sort of three reasons people would spend: to collect every single outfit, to get an evolution of an outfit, or to get the outfits in the shop. There could totally be other reasons (such as wanting to support the devs) but this is what I've seen for most people.
I feel like by having the pity this high they thought it would encourage people to spend, and it probably is for most people, but it's making me even more selective with my pulls and given that pity isn't shared it's even less encouraging to throw random pulls at different banners, especially on outfits like this where I'm not crazy about a lot of parts of the outfit. I know I'm just one out of so many players, but it's kind of unlikely that I'm the only one who feels like this, so idk.

I actually like the 5 star a lot although I get why others don't like it too much. Honestly, if I didn't have the fairy outfit I would pull for this one (gosh I really wish this was a gliding outfit rather than another floating)

I really think they should do 1 free daily pull, or every 2 days like in love nikki. Coz as f2p I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to do another pull, even on the permanent banner. Like it;s genuinely been a week since I've gotten 1 crystal to do permanent.
You should be able to get some every 2 weeks with the rotating Mira crown and then monthly from the dupes of 3 star clothing items.
That's not worth it. U don't get an resonat crystal from Mira crown from what I've seen, unles you purchase it in shop, which is monthly, same for the resonate shop. I believe it's roughly 9, imagine only getting 9 free puls a month, u can't even get an outfit in a year. Obviously there's going to be events that offer more but realistically it would take an unbearably long time to get 1 outfit, let alone evolving them
@@Cookie-ox9dd it is the pinnacle contest sparklite store. You also get one revelation crystal per day for logging in from the log in events. There is the Mira journey as well which gives diamonds to turn into pulls. Diamonds should not be spent on resources or permanent crystals only revelation crystals. It is a very grind heavy game for sure
@@Cookie-ox9dd I think they mean you get the diamonds, which you get daily and from events/quest/exploration/mira crown/etc. It's still slow for us F2P, but more than 9. Just from doing dailies, you get about 22 a month. I definitely wish it were more, but I wanna make sure you know that you don't need the crystals themselves to pull, you can use the diamonds.
@SnazzySitara yes but I would rather save crystals for events, not the permanent, in order to get full pulls for event I would need to wait almost 10 months if not for other events adding crystal. In other words, for permanent I would also need to wait 10 months for full outfit of 5 star

Same here! I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the 5-star could use more of a wow factor-it’s a beautiful theme, but it feels like it’s missing something🙈. The 4-star is stunning, though! I wish it sparkled more at night-it might also depend on the lighting where I tried it on? Waiting to see what they announce next is such a smart idea! I’m doing the same on my f2p account. I might progress further in the story and, if I struggle with the Sovereign of Cool, I’ll consider pulling a bit for a piece. But I also lean toward saving for complete outfits since it’s a dress-up game after all haha!

I really like the 5 star ability outfit. It's super cute, I love all the paper crane stuff in the game and it feels like a nice upgrade from the bubble floating outfit.
Will you be doing a comparison video to compare the wing of wishes against the other existing floating ability outfits?
The longer I look at the five star dress the more I think I like it lol. I really like it in the banner art and sometimes in-game but idk. I'm skipping it this time, I think, and I'm really excited to see the full versions of the teased four star sets and whatever comes after! I may try a couple of ten pulls but there's so many parts of the outfit I don't like on their own, and I would feel so sad getting a five star piece and never using it, yk? (What follows is somewhat-long and my opinion has sort of changed, so I've kind of edited places that I thought needed it.)
I've realized through reflection that I don't have any problem with this dress, but before I could place the character it reminded me vaguely of I couldn't stop thinking about it and overlooked the uniqueness and prettiness of the outfit. (The hair (imo) reminds me of Maddie from EVA (I can't explain why, it just does and that hat just adds to that lol).)
Like from the lower half, I can tell that this outfit is inspired by paper cranes really easily. The details are clear and the colors are similar to those of the paper cranes in-game. If I look at only the top half, I do still feel like the crane details are more subtle, which I also really like. Both halves do work well together, and it looks super cute in-game. I also like the little star details, I wonder if they're a nod to the event, or just the fact that paper cranes fly and the sky has stars in it?
I kind of think the hair color may be very slightly too bright (hear me out, I could be wrong, but) the cranes in the dream warehouse are more of a powder blue or at least more dull than the sort of teal blue that the hair is. (Edit: When you look at them closer, they are closer to the color of the hair, but seeing as I don't have it, I can't do a color comparison. I want to be clear that I do love the outfit and think it's really adorable, but not my favorite out of the ones coming up/already released, I think)
I said before the edits that the whimsy feeling they probably wanted for this outfit is really present, the resemblance to the character (to literally only me, myself, and I!) sort of detracted from the paper crane theming. It's just that earlier me was being ridiculous, as obviously this would only add to the look and literally nobody else would have thought that. The magical, whimsical feeling is expressed really well and I adore that. I just can't stop laughing like what was I thinking, why did this remind me so strongly of a show I haven't tought about in years?
Also the sleeves being slightly puffy? I love the fact that this reminds me of wonderland so much. Also I absolutely adore the red evolution! It gives major queen of hearts vibes to me, which I love (but could never get 😔). It looks like the dress even has a sort of checkerboard pattern on the dress and stockings (which is a detail unique to that evolution!) and they add more "royal" golden detailing to the skirt! Yet again the side pony seems out of place for it, though, but it's at least more tolerable than the first two. I must say I do adore the ombre the hair gets in the final evolution, it's by far the best version of the hair imo.
(Edit: I want to be clear that I do like the dress and I can be wrong about anything I've said. I also don't hate the hair or hat or anything, I think it all looks pretty! If anyone could do a comparison of the hair next to the cranes in the dream warehouse though, I would really appreciate it lol. It's something I'm so curious about haha. The outfit is so beautiful in camera mode)

I pulled unitl i had the 4 star. The hair is the shade of blonde I was waiting for!! So pretty. Until the end of the banner I will think about if I want the 5 star. It's nice because it's a whole 5 star cool outfit, so it can help with the competition.

Short answer: No. This 5 star outfit isn't any better than the Blooming Dreams and all the gimmick it has is that Nikki can step on a giant wishing crane and do a T-Pose for meme potential. Horrible outfit, the 4* outfit is worth pulling tho. I don't like the overall design and I felt it could have been better since it's a special outfit for the Florawish to represent this event and this is what they can come up with? Infold, do better with the designs.
It's usefulness is that this outfit is one of the very first 5* with high cool stats. Overall, just skip if you have any 4* outfits from last gacha.
I probably wouldn’t have pulled if I wasn’t such a completionist🤔. I agree-our last two 5-stars felt more cohesive and thought-out in their design, while this one just doesn’t have the same spark😭. The 4-star is lovely, but I can’t help thinking we’ll see similar ones in the future. We already have so many gorgeous 4-star/SSR outfits in Shining Nikki, and yet we don’t style them often because they don’t immediately stand out. Also, the cool stat thing is tricky! Infold usually has a lot of tops and bottoms for cool attributes, so I maxed out the rare 5-star piece thinking it would match that pattern… and then they brought out a dress😅

Super informative video, I didn't know you could walk on PC by holding Ctrl! I don't love everything about these dresses, but the improved jumping is hard to pass up. Do you feel like it's game-changing enough that's it's necessary?
No I wouldn't vouch for anything unless you like it. The basic floating ability has to be able to complete all level obstacles at all times by default otherwise the game become p2w (pay to win)
so what this outfit really gives you is just a comfort of play or a bonus aspect.
It all narrows down to the outfit itself, if you love it go for it. Loving something is very important ❤ I think more important than pulling for purely ability bonuses or extra scores.

The effects might be too pretty for mobile to handle so they might have overdone toning it down.
I think a swimming outfit is realistic with how they design ability outfits. They can often only be used in certain areas. So, they might design some underwater area where we get a swimming and diving outfit. That's of course limiting, but the game is just not designed like a metroidvania.
Of course, before we get a swimming outfit, we need water proof makeup. That's the actual reason why Nikki immediately dies as soon as water even touches her face.
Even if it’s restricted to specific areas, I think that would still be amazing and so much fun! I really hope the devs are taking notes🥺. Also, LOL, you’re so right-waterproof makeup is now a must🤣💕

I think that’s a great strategy! If I weren’t a completionist, I’d probably only pull for a 4-star in a 5-star banner if I absolutely loved it and liked the 5-star. Or maybe if the 5-star makeup or Momo’s cloak are cute! Otherwise, I’d probably save and wait🤔.
The 5 star swan outfit is not bad, but its placement is as it came right after 2 amazing outfit and it has the theme and ability that already belongs to previous outfits that people pulled for they should have made it atleast a gliding outfit.

Also...yeah it was pretty clear that they will pull out ability outfits that are straight up better/faster/longer or whatever then the stuff u get in the story...but that they start with that already and AGAIN a floating outfit..not even 2 weeks after the last floating outfit (fairy) ended to make it already the weaker (and also the most annyoing) version???..meh that rly a bummer for me.

When wearing the 4-star outfit [Starfall Radiance] and using the pose [Praying Hands], a shooting star will streak across the sky and you can find the pose in the grace section

For the store packs, all of the starlight gifts are def worth it with the cheapest having the most value, so if you don't have enough stellarites to get them all, make sure to get the cheapest ones first
I do have a question, on other Nikki games do they refresh the discounted packs? Because if it’s possibly something they do every major update, it’s nice they do that cause maybe the conversion trade off may be worth it if you get more pulls for less currency 😯

The intro dress is from Shining Nikki, and the dancing pose is called Rosemary Serenade. If you’re looking for something similar, there’s a blue skirt from a clothing sketch chest and a blouse from the banners-or you could mix and match with any top you like!🥰 I can’t recall the exact chest location right now (definitely not Florawish or Stoneville since I’ve already covered those in guides). But once I’m back home in early January, I plan to make a guide covering all the regions!💖

They aren't going to change their entire plan just for one player. It's likely never going to change from this unless they see a significant decline in players.
I mean, thankfully it's not something we need to complete challenges, events, or progress the story.
@@nicole2696It does make you faster for completing the eureka challenges quicker and easier though. The 2nd one is pretty tight normally on the timing to get the achievement for beating the hard version in under 2 minutes, whereas it’s noticeably easier to get within that time with the outfit.
You don’t need it, but it does help.

Well the new pass has both the cloaks from the last one, so it seems like the cloaks will refresh not every month so we can collect them all!

Haha, I thought the same at first! But it turns out the dark blue version was hiding all the way at the end of the inventory for some reason. Maybe the “sort by recent” option in the game actually sorts by the order in which the devs created the items rather than when we obtained them?🤔

You just need to keep the joystick slightly tilted in any direction, if you tilt it too much you'll start running.
their tactic of saving the pretty colors for evolutions is a bad idea. they obviously want us to pull for recolors, but if they would just make the first stage pretty then more ppl would pull overall
They're both good/fine but I don't see either of them being something I'd reach for when assembling an outfit. The 5* is a bit too specific and doesn't lend toward mixing all that well, it really wants to be worn all by itself while the 4* is just not my taste despite how much I really like the accessories and overall palette of the look.
Also I'm really hoping they'll do a Gacha set that isn't just a dress or one piece. They're all gorgeous but I'd like some tops, bottoms and outers.
I'm completely fine saving my gems for the next banner.

Your idea of a gacha with basic pieces is genius! We really need more foundational items for styling different looks, especially in the open world🥺 I wish limited banners also came with more rare pieces. Makes sense to give a cool outfit as there wasn’t really a 5 set of that yet, but it is really underwhelming (also not at all what I’d consider cool lol).

Kinda same, it looks oddly cheaply made to me so I do not care for it aesthetically, but it’s ability makes you blatantly faster than the free bubble float outfit so that could be useful for future Eureka trials, and I needed a 5 star cool outfit, so I ended up pulling for it.

Honestly, same😭 I heard about floating on a paper crane before even seeing the pictures, and I thought, “That sounds SO cool! It has to be amazing, right?” But then I looked at the set, and I felt like they could’ve done so much more with the design😫 I think that the third and fourth recolors are the best versions, but they’re way too expensive💔 I don’t think I’ll be getting them. That said, I’m SO excited for CNY😍 I really hope the outfits won’t disappoint because we’ve had back-to-back events in Infinity Nikki, which isn’t something we used to have in Shining Nikki or Love Nikki🥺 Hoping they give us something truly special this time around💖

I can’t help but get a little overwhelmed with how many banners there have been and since I prioritized that super cute whimsy outfit with art motif I never got the last floating outfit so I was so stoked for ANOTHER floating outfit but I calculated that it would take almost 21k diamonds to pull it 😭
I feel like id be more inclined to pull if they added new 3 star items. I have multiples of all of them and pulling dupes 9/10 times means theres not even a tiny slither of joy most of the time. As a stubborn mf I'm not impulse pulling for dupes.
also they could have done so much more with a paper crane dress i loved the scene with the song so much it made me sentimental towards the paper crane symbolism but this fit is just not it

These fits arent really my vibe unfortunately and i hate waiting. Daughter of the lake is suprisingly only a 4 star outfit so it will be easier to get thankfully. Im almost to 20k diamonds so i think ill be set

I really loved the 4-star when I first saw the pictures😍 but I was slightly disappointed when I noticed the dress isn’t as sparkly at night🥺 I feel like it should have more of a starlight vibe since it’s based on the Shooting Star Season. Pulling 80 or 90 times is a lot😫 so it really depends on how much you love the outfit💕 If you like the style, it might be worth considering, but if you’re into stars or shooting-star themes, the devs seem to treat Shooting Star Season as a New Year’s event. So there’s a good chance we might get more star-themed outfits every year around January 1!🤔 Just my speculation though, so make sure to follow your own judgment😊 If you decide to pull, I wish you the best of luck!💖✨

I think the 5 star is getting dragged down by the hair like it is just not a good color and i dont like the random side pony. it makes the sleeves and neckline look weird it should be an updo or a really pretty short hair
