Plot twist: The Skaven just tried their first manned space mission because the Horned Rat told them about the 40K universe and how brilliant it would be to go and fuck shit up for everyone there.

I love that the motives of these guys are so insane. Like, you have the skaven trying to summon their lovecraftian god, the dark elves trying to actually save everybody by destroying the vortex, the high elves being like "yo let's just keep things exactly the same and crush anyone who says otherwise", and the lizardmen trying to LITERALLY keep the fabric of reality from collapsing.
On the other hand, the tomb kings are just trying to be the best librarians that anyone has ever seen, and the vampires are just trying to be the first one to kill a big fuckin' fish. This game has the greatest lore out of anything.
What I love is how stupid you made it sound but you are absolutely right
"the dark elves trying to actually save everybody by destroying the vortex" Destroying the Vortex would quite litteraly end the entire world as it would be consumed by a endless tide of Daemons. The Dark Elves want it for power.
@Adhi Wicaksono They would not be able to save them. The power they would gain by destroying the vortex would be insignificant compared to the Daemon hordes they would unleash.

But none of this matter, because if you watch the dark elves' campaign, you will see that they do not destroy or change the vortex, they just trick it into accepting Malecith as its master
The high-elves on the other hand, do try to restore it, and not just "keep it the same"
You’re right about everything except for the dark elf part. The vortex is the only reason why the Warhammer world still exists (in the game at least, in lore... it kinda blew up)
I have to wonder how the hell they voiced the Lizardmen! They sound so animalistic and primal without emphasizing snarls and hisses with their own voices. It's just really good!
I like how the Lizardmen devices and buildings are portrayed here. They do feel vaguely sci-fi-ish, which makes sense, since it's Old Ones' technology after all

@@pain002 I wish I was. That is the Skink Priest's name as you see a picture of him when he issues a mission. Skinks have some weird names sometimes like Tiktaq'to and Tenhenhauin.

@@ninetailsfoxkyuubi2744 Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, along with a few other sapient races, are part of the Great Plan. They were created by the Old Ones. Because they have their place in the Great Plan, they would not be purged: only elements of their races that break from the Plan (such as Dark Elves, Chaos Dwarves, Human Cultists, etc.) would be.
The Purge refers to races that have no place in the Great Plan. Those like the Greenskins and the Skaven. The Old Ones did not include them as part of their designs, and so they must be exterminated.
So yes, very much still Defenders of the World. It just turns out that to Defend the World from Chaos, more proactive measures have to be taken.
Did you watch the ending? They started a purge... The narrator also called them cold blooded which was obviously a pun. They aren't the good guys.

Something I really like about the Lizardmen rituals is how they seem so random and unconnected-right until the last one, where you see how it all fits together. All part of the Great Plan.

I like that when they show the vortex, the text is just a bit different for each race. It shows how much effort they put into this.
it's funny how there is an awkward silence in the cinematic where mazdamundi gives his battle speech for the vortex.
Weird that the two original lords for every other faction both appear in their respective movies. But here, Kroq Gar makes no appearance.
He does, next to Mazdamundi both times, he's just the bigger saurus with the prothstetic arm.

Me on my first lizardmen play through: Hmm, they seem interesting, the skinks are kinda cute with those goofy eyes and the sauraus are pretty badass when atop carnosaurs.
Me half way through my first play though: *getting my primitive ass handed to me by the huntsmarshal* I’m gonna go Montezuma’s Revenge on your first world havin’ ass!
Me at the end of my first play through: Commence the purge, fulfill the great plan!

I played through this entire campaign, but i never got the movie for the 3rd ritual for some reason
So everyone else want it for selfish reasons but these guys seem to be the only truly good one😂

So are there female lizardmen? Im not really good at warhammer lore, I'm sorta new to it. I mostly know about the skaven
No female Lizardmen, they all come from spawning pools, which uses old one’s tech. Basically, the old ones used the lizardmen as servants and made these spawning pools to create more lizardmen, according to their plan. The problem now is the old ones are gone and the plan is completely of the original course, so the Slann have to try and figure out what the task of each spawned group of lizardmen is. They’ll use everything from the time of the spawning to the color of the scales to try and figure it out.

I dont understand those last seconds with flowers growing....can anyone explain the meaning of that scene please ?
the lizardmen have control of the vortex and its magic power. the great plan is purge the lesser races (humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, etc) off the world and reset it back to how it was suppose to be. so the plants indicate the world is going back to where it is with alot of flora, no civilizations and such. basically warhammer prehistoric age. no humans and such since lizardmen commited genocide against the races.
lore wise they are on the side of order like humans and dwarves for example facing chaos but even then the lizardmen have their own goals and how they see other races. they are the oldest species on their world and the other "younger" races are viewed lesser or as a mistake of creation.
so its kinda good/bad morals they have if you think about it. the good is they dont want chaos to exist and will wipe out any race that serve the chaos gods. the bad is to make sure even though if humans, elves ally with them for sake of order the lizardmen will kill them later to make sure they dont submit to chaos despite how the fan views it the lizardmen also submit to chaos by committing genocide.
@@dungeonmaster16 but humans, high elves and dwarfs are the part of the great plan so they should not be killed. I think the purge is more focused on killing skaven, greenskins, dark elves and chaos worshippers
@@dungeonmaster16 what? By commencing the purge the lizardmen purge everything that is not a part of the great plan. Aka chaos, skaven and greenskins. As long as the elves, dwarfs and humans dont activly get in the way they will likley be just ignored. As they were created by the old ones and therfore are a part of the great plan.

Do you have to play a specific one of the lizardmen factions to get these stories? iv played 200 turns of kroq gar NO cutseens or story
are you playing on Mortal campaign or warhammer 1? this is cutscene from warhammer 2 original
