Heck yeah they usually don't even take the coupon if you got it. I think you could make stuff up but tech messed it up, but I'm still a fan of tech. Except that phone address on books. I'm finding one of them.
My Dad still has that phone directory and a rotary dial phone. I love it. It was always a big deal when you got a new phone directory and had to transfer over all the numbers. Thanks again for a great laugh!
Oh my Gosh this was my life! The dial up interrupting my calls, someone dialing while I was on, the not calling till 7 on my cell; too much! Plus that "rolodex" type phone book that popped up. LOL
Rotary phone Taking me back ! Couldn't sneak phone calls on that. Everybody in the house could hear you dialing. I'm originally from Harrisburg, Pa area been in Lebanon, Pa 31 years but I love Pittsburgh Dad ! Funny !!
LmAO one of the BEST videos yet!!! Oh the GOOD old days!! (Except for dial up and waiting for my free AOL online CD to come in the mail so I could get on AIM after school LoL) Kids these days wouldn't have lasted a minute in MY day!!! I'm 26. LoL Now on a moto droid razr watching vids on TH-cam where my phone is more of a toy than a phone...crazy...
Good god. This video was unbelievably accurate on how it was growing up in the 90s. America online disks constantly coming in the mail, stretching the phone cord beyond it's limit, someone dialing the phone while you were on it, not calling someone's cell phone before 7, and on and on. Great job guys. The sad part is that I don't even own a house phone anymore haha. I bet most people don't.
I thought my dad was the only one that stomps on the floor to get you attention. I lost it when i saw that. He still does that with my little brother today. Love it
that looks exactly like my Dad's phone too...Good stuff. (where'd you find a phone that looks like a 70's phone) lol We had an avacado green fridge, also. When I would watch the 70's show, I would think "this ain't nothin like my experience in the 70's" but this Pgh Dad nails it. IDK maybe it is a burg thang.
My grandmother still has a wall mounted rotary phone has the same phone number since 1958 and its still the only way to talk to her unless u go over in person or mail her a letter.
After reading a bit of the Pennysaver while filming, we could probably film an entire episode about it! About 3 - 4 Pennysaver jokes were actually cut from this episode.
0:17 is typical for my family and I. Especially when I don't wanna talk to the person that's on the phone. 2:19 I can relate! My friends that like to talk for long periods of time call my cell all the time and I usually tell them to text me or call the house phone. Loved the episode!!!
Yinz need to do an episode about the girls watching dance moms or signing up at the a bby lee dance studio.....lol....would love to see what dad has to say about that!.....I also love the phone book.....too funny!
Holy shit I can't believe other people actually had the mr. yuck sticker on their phones too. We had the red rotary phone though... Thanks for bringing back the good ole days
That address phone book is actually pretty cool. I hope they still make them, before google if my phone broke forgot about everyone's numbers. I'm checking dollar general.
Lately we've been getting constant calls from Royal Bank Canada wanting to sell us shit... I wish they'd stop because even though I love the 1812 overture (yes that is the ringtone for the house phone), I don't want to hear it every 5 fucking minutes.
The pizza coupon joke at the end was my parents every week. They always tried to pull the "i have this coupon" stunt. Works every time
"Do we have any pizza coupons...?? I'll just tell 'em we do, they don't check."
Very true... Saved money at Fox's doing that once lol
Heck yeah they usually don't even take the coupon if you got it. I think you could make stuff up but tech messed it up, but I'm still a fan of tech. Except that phone address on books. I'm finding one of them.
"We brought Fleury in here to win stanley cups. WHAT DOES MIKE MILBERRY KNOW ABOUT?" Had me cracking up!
2:32 lol who hasn't ever ran into to someone dialing while you were on the phone if you ever talked on a house phone. lol
My Dad still has that phone directory and a rotary dial phone. I love it. It was always a big deal when you got a new phone directory and had to transfer over all the numbers. Thanks again for a great laugh!

I felt like we were back in the 90's in this video

You're my hero, I missed out on you for years. It doesn't suck though I binged your videos.
This episode is one of my faves, my Dad used to holler at us morning, noon and night about the phone. lol

Oh my Gosh this was my life! The dial up interrupting my calls, someone dialing while I was on, the not calling till 7 on my cell; too much! Plus that "rolodex" type phone book that popped up. LOL
I love the bit at the end about the coupons! So Pittsburgh.
Lol, love the bit about the pizza coupons...
...AND my parents still have that same sweet flip up phone book somewhere :)
Rotary phone Taking me back ! Couldn't sneak phone calls on that. Everybody in the house could hear you dialing. I'm originally from Harrisburg, Pa area been in Lebanon, Pa 31 years but I love Pittsburgh Dad ! Funny !!

I do that too, but I'm from North Carolina. My mom and her family lived near Pittsburgh before moving south though.
Yinz forgot to mention Tel-Med, the source of all health information! We used to call those numbers in the 70s for fun and entertainment.
Ha, Bedford County PA had party lines in part of the county until the late 90's. "Hey, wait your turn jaggo!"
Your the man Pittsburgh dad
Loving this!
That was the Pizza Ahtlet coupon we used to use every Friday night...miss that place!
My parents do the yelling for each other to pick up the phone. In fact, it just happened about 15mins ago
This is like the comedy version of scream lol
My grandmother still has a wall mounted rotary phone has the same phone number since 1958 and its still the only way to talk to her unless u go over in person or mail her a letter.

After reading a bit of the Pennysaver while filming, we could probably film an entire episode about it! About 3 - 4 Pennysaver jokes were actually cut from this episode.

Every hockey fan echoes this same sentiment.

The yellow sticker on the phone's a classic - we had that too.
Oh man, this is so my life. lol.
0:17 is typical for my family and I. Especially when I don't wanna talk to the person that's on the phone. 2:19 I can relate! My friends that like to talk for long periods of time call my cell all the time and I usually tell them to text me or call the house phone. Loved the episode!!!

I do that coupon thing all the time. Must be a Pittsburgh thing lol.
My husband is certain he had a Pittsburgh Dad sighting in line for the Thunderbolt on Saturday! Any chance that's true??
Yeah, I know and Dad should have a little talk with Steve Blass about them both having a rotary phone.
i come to a conclusion that dad can time travel.
You still have a rotary phone?! LOL
