Kit has the ability to be especially infuriating. The slight pauses, talking over the guy, everything he does is designed to wear out their patience. It's like watching a master craftsman at work.

Actually, the sad reality is that the type of people that need explaining of what a control key is are more likely to be scammed. The scammers know this and take advantage of this.
I love how these scammer yell "CALM DOWN" like yelling at someone ever actually calmed them down....Also when they call people "F*ing idiot" like it's going to make them listen and obey....
The fact you master this old lady persona. The butting in, the rambles and the nonstop chatter about hobbies and a bit too much detail 🤣 even with the voice changer it WORKS so well.
All the stuff about the grandkids and church activities, next-door neighbors, cats, collectibles--all of it works. Plus the hesitancy and desire to be polite, mentioning that their memory isn't as it used to be and adding recipes that are completely absurd, such as a mayonnaise caserrole.

Absolutely! And, the sad thing is, there are a lot of people get scammed that we don’t know about and you know what is those POS scammers excuse- old rich Americans, don’t deserve/need the money. They think that money fall from the sky here in U.S. and people don’t have to work hard for it nor, any bills to pay.
Plus, many older folks need help with everyday chores , many of them lonely and depressed, barely making it financially.
Can you imagine coming to work every day, knowing that you gonna steal money from innocent people? Makes you wonder what kind of people those scammers are...

The acting is amazing! Like when they ask him what he sees on the screen, he attempts to view what it was and stops to say, "I need to put on my glasses." He's able to make the conversations sound so natural due to his ability to ad lib.
He takes crying to the next level with all kinds of nuances and sobs. I saw a documentary of an elderly invalid who was reduced to tears for real by the scammers threats and cruelty. Kit's realistic depiction unleashes further cruelty in the scammer that teaches a lot about how humans can allow themselves to descend to this.
@junemarshall-kingsley566 They take a lot of pleasure robbing and hurting people who have standards of living that are 1000x better than theirs. Notice how Kit keeps trying to trigger the scammer by mentioning many times "I pay money to lots of people to take care of stuff I dont use". The scammers probably see themselves as Robin Hoods.

You know what? As much as I adore these videos, they can be genuinely painful to watch. Imagine an elder in absolute distress because they think the videos of their grandkids being born is just gone. And these people ensure that it happens, purely out of retaliation. Then they say “now cry.”

Yeah this made me sad even though it’s kit. Because this shit happens. I always help my older loved ones get their stuff safely stored in the cloud or backed up externally in some way.
I actually love the idea of pushing chromebooks on old people. It’s not foolproof and not scamproof obviously, but sandboxing helps and the system is simple to take care of. Just keep an eye on their browser extensions heh

i love how frustrated these guys get when they think they are talking to an old lady who doesnt know anything about a computer. They have to be pulling their hairout from these convo. I remeber working in a PC helpdesk for a hospital and had similar issues and it can be frustrating sometimes. But for something like this i get so much joy from them suffering and not knowing its all just one massive waste of time.

I can't believe it really happens. I never knew until I found Kit. We have to protect our elderly community from theses monsters.
The only way to protect elderly is to educate them and ask them not to entertain anybody over the phone and avoid text or email links.
It's very true, when I worked at the Geek Squad call center I would talk to people who were either victimized or almost victimized all the time.
Thank fuck for people like Kit to waste their time, he's truly a hero, protecting vulnerable people.

I want to thank you for doing this. I have learned a lot!! I went to visit my dad one day after work and low and behold he was on a call with a scammer (80 yr man who thought he was doing things right). He gave me the phone to talk to this guy and once I saw what they were doing (had on team viewer) and was "helping my dad get rid of the hackers and getting his anti-virus updated " I ended the call and he gave me a call back number directly to him ( not even a 1800 number lol). Rebooted Uninstaller viewer as it said that the other person could connect with current password and debriefed my dad on what they had done thus far and what was actually happening. Ticks me off that they prey on vulnerable people. From watching your videos I was able to immediately see this was a scam as they tend to stay with scripts. For this I thank you!!!
