Loon comparing the frame rate drop of Slime 3K with Two Worlds on Xbox 360 is priceless. "This water is wet". If you know, you know. Great ranking gentlemen, I look forward to your game awards.
😂 It’s why everyone should experience one Eurojank game in their life at the very least. Slime 3K though really needs some optimisation patches it’s a difficult enough game as it is I don’t need the added challenge of it being a Roguelike slideshow 🫣
@@alex1212456 Ahh I mean it’s the thing where I can see why it doesn’t click though. This definitely was a new BioWare team taking steps into their own direction. Will be interesting how Mass Effect gets received when that drops. The performance and graphics are definitely some of the games strong suits though for sure 😁
Completely agree with Loon re: Alan Wake 2. Saga’s part of the story was so much more interesting to me than Alan’s. I would get so into playing detective & unraveling the mystery as Saga & then Alan’s parts put on the brakes & halt all momentum. And then you’re essentially shooting the same shadow enemy over & over again. AW2 was a truly unique experience. But its gameplay left me frustrated in a way Control never did.
Yep couldn’t agree more I love AW2 to bits but I’ve also never been a fan of switching characters during a game. I’m one of the few I think that also dislike it in games such as Yakuza. I prefer when it’s a one character story. Don’t get me wrong Alan’s part of the story needed to be there with the way the games written he is relevant but from an enjoyment standpoint ehhhhh. 😂 Control for sure I enjoyed more moment to moment. I still need to go back and finish the DLCs maybe they will move it up in my mind but right now it’s probably third place for Remedy games I’ve played. Control, Quantum Break, AW2, AW then AW American Nightmare. Blasphemous I know but I’ve never played the original Max Paynes. Need to look at scratching them off the list in the next few years just so many games 🙃
Yeah definitely lucky to play and finish as many as I do. It’s why I’m not surprised that things such as CRPGs and JRPGs struggle to break into true mainstream appeal as how can they when they demand 50+ hours of undivided focus and attention 😮💨
@@ama9385-w2g Learning the intricacies of say Baldurs gate 3 or Pathfinder require much more thought than either COD or FIFA. @@xman777b I believe that’s fair it’s like how people compare different types of RPGs. Of course Stalker 2 aims for a more open ended experience than Metro but both are inspired by the likes of Roadside Picnic. Both clearly want to capture a similar essence. Metro devs are original stalker devs that left so there’s plenty of overlap. If Stalker 2 wasn’t plagued with issues it would’ve been a better first impressions. I’m not writing it off myself I’ll be treating it the same way I did Atomic Heart by jumping back in three months later. By that time the teething problems should be fixed.
Brandon: based on your BO6 takes, would love to know what you think of COD Black Ops Cold War (BO5), when/if you eventually get to it. As that title is essentially a precursor to the Black Ops 6 campaign. And it also features espionage/stealth. Sidenote: REALLY disappointed BO6 is 'always online' (even the campaign). 100% rawhide wallet gut-punch.
I’ll have to check it out. I’m a total COD newbie, would’ve never played any of those games if it wasn’t for game pass… but I’m definitely open to going back to the others now
@@alex1212456 Not everything has to be held to that standard either. I don’t hold any Dragon Age to any CRPG as they offer different experiences. The Black Ops 6 campaign really goes places and they must have some Real Deal single player developers on that team. The other guy dropped out of the campaign just before it got really interesting. The New Movement is really good edit ads to the multiplayer considerably. Sometimes you have to give a game a chance even if you aren't feeling it.
@@Sticks_of_Truth I’m just not really invested in COD campaigns as I used to be. I’ve played 10+ of them at this point. @@MadnlooneyJR Control, Wake 2, then Quantum break. I wouldn't expect a survival horror game to have combat on par with those two.
