Hey Kyle, I live right on the edge of the illonoian glacial period edge here in Ohio. I found a great spot where three little, slow moving creeks empty out into a larger river. I’ll give you an update of what I find. Should be lots here!!
Well answers my last question !!! Good to see you digging those cracks , I want to try it here in Nova Scotia !!! thanks for the videos . Hope you hit a big find !!
Really nice job of showing point A to point B, C and D! I like seeing the whole process and most videos edit steps out which I personally don’t like especially breaking the sluice down and cleaning it.
Chris Lilly If its a breakdown you want, check out sawtooth mat testing on my channel! Kyle does an excellent job and perhaps you might enjoy some of mine.....
Kyle, I'm new to this big-time but you could probably use the dredger floaty two incher and five gallons buckets and put the hose right in their and get insane amount more and ten times more I'd bet. But I'm new but yes water will bring that right up and fast as heck I'm sure.
Been following your videos with interest. Getting lost keeping track. If I could suggest it would be less confusing if you could break your videos into like part 1, part 2 etc. Would make it easier to follow along without wondering if we are watching an older version or newer. Also it would be interesting if you told us how much your days collection in weight was instead of just showing in the pan what you did. Do you not weigh your findings as you go?
Wonder if ya steep zones hold better gold the walls of the hills look good for a test here n there maybe the gold got pushed to the sides or grazed along a fall off zone hardly moving were theres mini cliffs of dirt where big arosion happended dig into the outside bends aswell
With the low water flow you usually have you should consider changing out your Hungarian ruffles for some low flow gold hog mats. I did and when I did my capture rates really went up, plus my clean ups were a lot easier plus I didn't any longer need to classify which increased my amounts of materials I could run in a day.
Hello Sir, I'm betting you've heard this many times and given it due consideration, but you might want to pan those concentrates into something like another pan with jet dry a few times; the specific gravity differential between black sands and fines just doesn't allow for concentrates to be processed like raw material. There's an inverse relationship between concentrate grade and recovery (lower grade, higher recovery), a thing that gave rise to all those primitive methods that left tailings people rework today. I didn't used to, but what do I know? It ain't rocket surgery. Well done and thanks for the video.
Kyle you are really matured a lot since I first started watching you ears a tip go to Gold hog and watch Doc on how to work your pan you'll recover a whole lot more after you learn to do it like he shows you
hey bud nice Missouri gold I have the fever miss ya at the meeting and the outing this month also was wondering why you don't use a safety pan? atb....bobinmissouri
Hey Kyle! I grew up in St. James near Rolla. I live in Alaska now! pay closer attention to ANY crack that works like a natural sluice. parallel and Junctions! Keep it up and if you want to visit and do some prospecting let me know.
@@Kylethiemann I'm serious if you want to come up you got a place to stay. You can prospect anywhere in the state public land and you will find more gold and it's beautiful. I know alot of good spots in the interior and will be prospecting Valdez in two weeks. I'll send you a video of my clean out.
there's also hand pumps just like the one you have but with a one-way valve and a discharge hose that are easy to make I'm planning on making one. anyway awesome video bro keep em coming!😎
I fail to understand why more folks in these gold prospecting videos don’t use metal detectors on their trips. Even though I can’t afford one at present, it would make a lot of sense to have a good detector as standard prospecting equipment to identify targets and places for working, than take a “hit and miss” approach, and waste a day digging and get little to nothing for your effort, unless you only want to get out the house!
It hardly seems worth the effort and time for just a tiny amount of gold. Think of the cost of the gas and equipment and your time that you are putting into this effort. It is costing you more than you are getting back.
It's not for the $ it's a hobby & the thrill of the find. I would be doing the same if it wasn't -35F & everything frozen no running creeks. Also the joys of being OUTSIDE in fresh air +he's learning how to do something productive in life two types of people in this world the ones who do things & the ones who watch people do things. You did one heck of a lot of bending, squatting and standing today! If you keep that up, you’ll never get old!

Kyle I watched every second and think you did a great job! Nice work
Thank you sir !

Nice work kyle I did that years ago in Alaska and I truly love & enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing I enjoy watching 👀 your videos💰📹☺👍📷
That you I really appreciate it !
Good afternoon, great video, some nice gold you got, see you next great adventure of prospecting gold.
dad epic360 thank you I appreciate it !
Really nice job of showing point A to point B, C and D! I like seeing the whole process and most videos edit steps out which I personally don’t like especially breaking the sluice down and cleaning it.
And of course the gold!
Chris Lilly thank you ! I’m glad you enjoyed it !

Very nice Gold. I'll be in Etterville, MO this weekend. Hoping I find some Gold. Happy hunting!
Mike Wolff thank you ! And good luck to you !
Looks like a wicked fun hobby
I see the weather is much better there.... have you seen the ice i have to break thru to prospect? Good luck 🍀
Jason
Yes I’m glad I don’t have ice to deal with !
That is some nice bedrock for catching gold for sure, enjoyed the video and nice gold.
Thanks !
Sry for two comments but i wanted to ask if any of that bedrock comes up in slabs???
No worry’s and it’s weird there it’s like bed rock on bed rock .
That creek bed looks like an old road. I am surprised nobody has broken up all of that bedrock.

Great looking gold there Kyle thx 4the vid good luck from Ireland 😎

I've always wondered if gold made it to Missouri,we are a long way from any real mountains.Great vid Kyle Thanks! 😎

Well I hope you find some nuggets real soon because man that's a lot of hard work
dmn... u guys R amazing!!! make it look like you walk out your front door and BOOM!!! make it look 2 easy... pretty cool... might try it.
How much did your end result weigh in at? Do you save it until it's worth cashing in?

dig into the outside bends aswell
I would love to come down a do some prospecting with you sometime.

Randy Kirby I did that in my dredge & you are correct. One of best things I did

Brother at the 3:58 mark there is an out crop with a drop underneath. I'd get under that when the water warms up.
which action camera do you use?
Nice looking gold mate great video
Thank you
Nice gold thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching.
What's up Kyle! What size classifier do you use?
What kind of weight and return do get on that amount?
When you're out there, do you hear whoops and knocks?
Kyle you are really matured a lot since I first started watching you ears a tip go to Gold hog and watch Doc on how to work your pan you'll recover a whole lot more after you learn to do it like he shows you
thank you I appreciate that greatly ive leaned a lot through out the years.
Hey Kyle nice job mate. I was wondering why you didn't get the clay and pan that down. Thanks for the video mate respect from Australia
Kyle you need a bucket/leaf blower crevice vacuum
Seems as though you found lead, just go to the end/bottom rather than moving on ???
hey bud nice Missouri gold I have the fever miss ya at the meeting and the outing this month also was wondering why you don't use a safety pan? atb....bobinmissouri
bobinmissouri hey yeah sorry I didn’t make it and I try to pack the least amount of equipment as possible.
@@Kylethiemann 1 more pan won't hurt much lol unless it's made out of gold lol
bobinmissouri hahaha yes that is true !
@@Kylethiemann you should see what all i have to carry i need a pack mule lol
A pet peeve of mine
"Get some footage", "Video taping"
OMG how long has it been since either were relevent?
Lee Johnson 👍🏼
I would chase the horizontal cracks instead of the vertical. More likely to have a gold trap. Itll save you some work and get a bigger payout.
It's all about the hunt 👍
Looks like a nugget in that crack at 6:05.
thats twice your holes caught ya, at least it was dry this time...lol good one man!!
Lol yeah I guess I’m clumsy and thanks man!
Kyle. You have a great attitude. Thanks for being so generous and emotionally self contained.

Aaron Hall I will be waiting for it !
c'mon and get a bunch ! I am cheering for ya, son.
Thanks !
Up in Alaska icy bay any tips on finding gold below glaciers
Taylor Feller lots of luck lol
Great vid mate. New sub from 🏴
You would really benefit from a strong vacume
Good lookin area nice gold
Thank you thanks for watching
hi friend, there you from?
USA
I live in Missouri 2 thats nice gold for a day 👍
Hey thanks man !
I hope he brought his classifiers.
why the dime in the pan?
william alexander size comparison.
Kyle Thiemann How about value comparison? What was it worth in comparison to the dime? 🙂
@@gblan hahaha
What state r u in?
Missouri!
Should get a two wheel game cart and bring a battery powered hammer drill 😆
14:50
Probably making more money on youtube so it's not a waste of time plus it's nature man. Enjoy it.
I have to agree with Jeff Le. there has to be a better area.Have fun guys
The grey "clay" looks like decomposing bedrock.
Maybe I should dig deeper
@@Kylethiemann go as deep as you can tell you hit bed rock again in the cracks
dude with access like that I'd invest into a gas powered shop vack , I bet it will double your recovery.
I’ve been looking into it I need a easier way for this gold haha !
there's also hand pumps just like the one you have but with a one-way valve and a discharge hose that are easy to make I'm planning on making one. anyway awesome video bro keep em coming!😎
christopher cardenas thanks ! I’m looking into building a big hand dredge this weekend! Glad your enjoying them !!
I bought a leaf blower on a yard sale and made oneout of a 5 gallon bucket and a old shop vac hose!
thank you for sharing
Nice man! Get rich!!
Because
Are u above kc
Nope but above the Missouri River
I’m half way through this video, and this has not been your lucky day so far. I’m hoping you’ll strike in rich in the second half!
My TH-cam channel I'm creating is Robert mailbox prospecting
You missed a very big nugget stuck in the crack.
Yeah the brick was still a little deeper.
I found my first nugget in grass roots!
so much work for so little reward.....
That’s a lot of work I would be looking in a better spot not much shinny in ther
I panned for some bacon but i didn't make a sausage
Its cool but for as much work as it is not worth it use a metal detector

better be just a hobby not much gold
