Grosso 4 ever
Me and my little brother were lucky enough to have parents that would take us to vans at the block every weekend while they shopped around and ate. We didn't know it then, but we skated with and watched Ryan Reyes evolve his skating and end up pro. We went to numerous protec pool partys and met so many people and had a blast skating the beast
Man I remember Christian Hosoi’s sk8 hard videos on vhs in the late 80’s early 90’s. Crazy to see him skating still. And cab still out there shredding. Awesome.

That thing was huge i went there alot when i worked there never saw anyone roll around in it too gnar for even seasoned pros. Wish I could have seen someone skate it gotta have andy mac on speed dial for that to happen.
No disrespect to anyone: everyone ripped, old and young. It was beautiful to see. But, for me, it's all about Cab's frontside invert. 40+ years and still never duplicated! And that one was more tweaked than I've ever seen. At like 55!

yes but this one was considered to be the best made and well kept combi bowls, it was only skateable for private sessions or public events only. It's the only one that was indoors and not attached to a skatepark.

That's a real shame but people know what they get into when they go to a skate park . Sueing/litigation culture causes a lot of problems for society and general decreases freedom
Vans is closing a bunch of their skateparks, corporation that owns Vans stated that their parks either break even or lose money, even though they make insane profits off shoes and merch.
A very money forward business decision that shows how out of touch with skating they are becoming imo.

Yes! This. Why is everyone shying away from the reason? "I don't want to get in to all that right now" -- someone who was there (and knows). So frustrating. We all miss the yearly combi events. At least tell us what's going on/happened.
@@randyhollandsworth626 they are getting sued by the family of a BMX dude that died in the park. You’d think the waiver would be enough to cover them, but they probably don’t wanna risk it
