  • Hello everyone! This is a REUPLOAD! I made the huge decision to take down the first version of this video even though it was gaining some slow traffic because I was so unhappy with the quality of the first rendered version, so I hope you'll still give this video a like if you enjoy this less orange version of the video!
    I hope you enjoy this more official cosmetic review! I really don't know why my camera made my footage turn out a bit orange...but I tried my best to color correct everything.

    watched numerous reviews of these products.... I find your review and color swatches most detailed, and I love how you adjust the camera color settings as much as you can to show the exact colors. THANK YOU! was so helpful :) gonna get nude peach FOR SURE.

      Thank you so much for saying that, Glow! I will have more reviews to come once I get some time to sit down and film, (probably next week.) I still have adjusted the color while editing, but I got them as close as possible to the real product. So thank you so much for acknowledging that! It took quite some to get it right! :) I highlyyy recommend Nude Peach soooo much! It's pretty light, (if you're not super fair like myself.) So, I tend to pack it on, ergo I run out faster. If you're fair, you probably won't use as much. Either way, I've hit pan on my first Nude Peach since this review and am working on my second one now! (First time I hit pan so easily!) Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    Thank you all this time later for this review, I’m looking at them specifically because I wanted to dupe max and couldn’t find anything suitable in the states. Brighter high pigment color is popular and drugstore is often patchy, you’re the closest I’ve seen to my tone reviewing blush in a shade that I like so thank you! Thank you for the max comparison, talking about buildability. I’m excited to not have to worry about being heavy handed :)

      Hi Zoe! Thank you so much for your review--it means the world! I'm so, so thrilled the video helped! (When my schedule calms down at work,) I plan to review even more (affordable/alternative) blush options in the future, so please stay tuned! But I can happily report that these three shades I reviewed here are still my #1 with all things considered. So I hope you'll come to love these blushes as well!

      I'm so glad, Lexi! They're fantastic colors aren't they? :) I like the new 3CE colors as well, but nothing can beat the Mood Recipe collection since the undertone is just perfection. I honestly really enjoy Mono Pink as well! And I hope you do too :D let me know how it works for you! And thank you again for taking the time to watch! More to come!

    hi casey, great video! Just a quick question, If you would choose one, which colour is ur fav? cs i realized my skin tone is quite similar as yours

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Anna! Thank you so much! For a more natural look, Nude Peach is my fave. Second would be Rose Beige, then finally Mono Pink. I just filmed another 3CE blush review which will come out hopefully some time in the next two weeks (if I get a chance to film it.) If you're up to trying orange, consider My Muse. It's my current obsession as I'm up for something bright and fun. But again, if you want something more subtle, natural, but pretty, Nude Peach hands down. This collection of blushes from this video has a very subtle brown undertone, so they're all very soft/gentle/natural. My Muse is brighter and more fun. :) Hope this helps!

    I'm still deciding if I should get Nude Peach or Rose Beige, which one would you reccomend?? I have a light medium skintone and I've been looking for a good everyday blush to use!

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Hiya Jasmin! Hmm, it's hard to say. But I will say Nude Peach is very light, so it works best to even lighter skin tones. So if you're leaning more tan or you tend to get more tan out of the year like I do, I'd go with Rose Beige for sure. Nude Peach is almost exclusively a winter blush for me cause I have to be my palest for it to show up more easily. Rose Beige can be applied lightly or packed on so it has far more versatility. However I would only consider Nude Peach if you don't tan very easily, and you're leaning more towards the light side of light medium. I hope this helps! I love both equally! :)

    Hi Casey, what blush brush are you using? It's gorgeous!

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello! Thank you for watching! It was actually a brush from Etude House. It may have been limited edition as part of their "Be My Universe!" collection--a 3 piece set with a brush pouch from I think 2017 or early 2018 I want to say. Pretty nice brush in my opinion! I have a pretty small face so I like that it isn't overly fluffy but still angled! You may still be able to find it on ebay. I just looked on the international Etude House site and sadly they don't have it. I wish you the best of luck in finding it though! :)

    Finally someone who has some color. I don’t think I’m super tan, I fall sorta light med and so many kbeauty blushes I bought did not show up on my skin. I like to go for soft pinks and nudes and didn’t have this issue with western blushes, but the pigment just wasn’t there. I get that’s how kbeauty makeup is but not all Asians are white. It’s normal for us to be yellow and have slight tan

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Kelly, thanks for watching! I couldn't agree more--I'd say I also fall into the light to light-medium range (depending on the season.) After living in Asia for almost a decade, I've noticed most makeup-wearers will wear a foundation 1-2 shades lighter than their natural skin tone, even if it doesn't match their neck--I think this is why most of these crazy light blushes show up on their skin.
      3CE is one of the brands that is buildable--but as with most kbeauty (or Asian brands,) I'd have to pack so much that I quite easily hit pan compared to Western brands. I hope you won't run across this, but if so, I hope this helps you too:
      When I encounter a blush that hardly shows up on my skin tone, I use it with a darker blush to diffuse/blend out the edges into the rest of my face--a way to somewhat erase the harsh line of a darker/highly pigmented blush! So I hope this helps if you do end up getting a blush that's too light for you.
      But let's keep our fingers crossed that there'll be a better range for skin tones beyond the lightest. :)

      @@imhellocasey thanks for the tips! I still love k beauty for their lip and eye products and plan to try out some of their other blushes but so far I’ve just had better luck with western blushes. I’ve been loving the Kokie gradient blushes. They feel like luxury makeup at a drugstore price.

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kellye.5678Anytime! And indeed--Western brands are better at being more inclusive for a range of skintones (though still not perfect yet.) I'll def have to check out Kokie sometime! :) Thanks for the recommendation!

    I think Thai people have two skin colors. What color should be used? Thank you.

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, Bui! I'm not quite sure what you mean by two skin colors--there are many beautiful skin tones. But, Rose Beige will show up more nicely up to medium, maybe pushing medium-dark skin tones if you pack it on more heavily. The other two shades would likely only show up on light to medium skin tones; these may show up a bit ashy on darker skin tones. Hope that helps! :)

    Is it drying or too matte?

    • @imhellocasey
      @imhellocasey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ahin! I personally have dryer skin. I don't notice it clinging to any dry patches, but I would exfoliate beforehand just in case if you have any flaky skin. This is a matte blush; personally I like it to be matte. It's not "powdery" if that is what you mean. (The lightest color may look ashy if you have a deeper skin tone however.) It's matte, but personally I don't find it to be too drying. It's similar in quality to MAC blushes, but is a more "buildable/layerable" type of blush compared to MAC which is super opaque with one swipe. Hope that helps!
