Right now my 3 adult kids are going down paths and learning some hard hard lessons despite my words of encouragement or trying to help them not make the same mistakes I made. I’m sure a lot of what they are going through stems from mistakes I made at their age. Who you have kids with truly matters. Nevertheless, here we are. And it’s been sooooooo hard on me. I have been so much closer to God the last 2 years, even though I’ve followed and believed my whole life. I have instilled that in them . They know and love God. That gives me hope. Sometimes it just feels like “ how much more do they (or we) have to go through??? I’m tired. I’ve handed it over to God but still from time to time worry about them. And my grandkids. Seems never ending. Anyways….. constantly trying to just stay focused and trust God. Just need prayer for strength and for some peace for my kids.

Yes a very good teacher is to learn the mistake of others and not make that mistake. For example, if I see someone doing drugs and got cought then go the prison, I should learn from that to not do drugs either taking it or selling it because I don't want to go to prison.
