If anyone wants the full video, patreon.com/CynicalJon . I hate that I had to cut alot to trim this great anime down into something digestible. I honestly was not planning in opening a Patreon this early, but might as well create a cheap tier in the meantime.

So glad you’re watching this! This first episode honestly blew me away when I watched it. It was definitely a good decision to make it an hour and a half long special, I could definitely have seen people dropping it before it got to the big twist otherwise.
The author for this series is the same as kaguya-sama by the way. Pretty insane range as a writer.

Yeah, aside from the editing woes, having it this long means you can build up the story foundations more before the "big impact".

28:52 What the director means is that the law state that a child working in the entertainment must be officially affiliated with an agency for it to be legal. Of course there is many more requirement and limitation such as the child guardian approval and so on, but in any case the director is insisting to do things by the rule here.
32:25 Do you mean "empathy"? Apathy is being emotionally disconnected, empathy is being able to emotionally relate to others.

I see, so by officially being affiliated with an agency means they are legally liable for whatever happens 👍👍👍

I meant apathy, cause I thought actors need to be emotionally disconnected in order to survive this industry 🤣🤣🤣
