I wear lots of dresses and sometimes I wear skirts. I also wear jeans or pants on a Friday. It all depends on how I feel. I love the teacher t-shirts. I'm thinking of getting one this academic year.

I have two pairs of Bobs (one with dog print) and love them! I teach grade 3 and am totally on the same wave length as you... I want to look professional and pretty but MUST be comfortable. Love your channel!

Every school is so different!
I’ve worked in 6 different schools and the dress code she describes seems pretty typical to me, although all but one of my schools allowed jeans every Friday.

hey I'm going into my freshman year of college and want to be an elementary school teacher. However, I used to engage in self harm leaving my left arm full of self harm scars. Would you recommend me hiding them from students and their parents?
Berenice Rosales I feel this honestly. I’m a junior in college and currently doing more and more observation hours in schools so my arms are exposed more often (granted I did focus on my legs when I did self harm). Tbh kids don’t notice too much and if you’re self conscious about it, just wear a cardigan on the days you meet parents. They will fade with time even if it doesn’t seem like it now. Stay strong-you’re not alone!
