@@SpiritualNazyou should check out the Project Blowed cats. Or Hiero. Gift of Gab. Latyrx. There are loads of west coast rappers, and lots of other areas in the world, that can stand up with anyone else from anywhere else. There's also still good rap music being created right now. We probably just prefer the sound we listened to when at that impressionable age, so we gravitate to that 90s hip hop sound. Some seem to isolate that to what was coming out of one coast of the US, but there's a whole world of hip hop out there that you're missing out on. As far as technical abilities in rhyme schemes and things, Gift of Gab is up there, and he was from the west.
I still listen to album, every chance I can..28 yrs old in November, I copped the tape, and grabbed my walkman, and played it every day..a classic album from the head..(Wu formed like Voltron and he just so happened to form the head)..the whole album is fire!
Classic son.... I've been a fan since day one growing up in Staten Island PARKHILL Ave and seeing Mef, Raekwon, Deck, Gza, Rza, U God & Ghostface in Stapleton PJs.....I went to school with Shyheim and that time in the 90s in NYC was so epic and DOPE
If you want more Wu Tang check out "Semi Automatic". This one got Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Streetlife. I choose this one because it's not often requested. The more you listen to Wu the more you realize you listening to the greatest Hip Hop group ever!
"My preliminary attack keep cemeteries packed Of niggas who think it ain't like that MC's are gunned down like being run down with mad trucks Then God struck, religious niggas call it "bad luck" Rap celeb, you got caught up in the web Now, bees are stingin', yo, that niggas em-singin' I'm just swingin' swords strictly based on keyboards Unbalanced like elephants and ants on see-saws....." 😮😵💫🥴
"Look out for these fatal flyin spikes of massive sleep holds that put strangles on commercial angles, Microphone cords tangled from being star spangled" this line is too beautiful, fucking poetic 🔥🎤
Yo really like this video. If you want some more Wu. Killing Fields: Method Man Tical 2000. I think this is one of the best method Man flows I've ever heard non-stop spitting

The rap music that came out of NY from 92-97 is the best rap music made. Best beats, best flows, best punchlines, best metaphors.
The East coast ran shit I’m the 90s and early 2000s no disrespect to the west coast but east is clearly better.
I'd say till 2000 maybe then that's it lol
