I've heard people say tom dwan doesn't make big bluffs any more, but why would he when everyone's out to bluff him, making big calls is probably more profitable.
@@oliviajudd1313bruh lol so be it. The amount you will never see even in your dreams. So chill and enjoy. Their matches. You would be sweating for 100 dollars
@nagaexplore619 This is true. The largest pot decision I had to make was for a little over 1k at a 1/2 nlh table at the Hard Rock in Tampa. I took my time..I embarrassingly folded the best hand.
So different watching Dwan not be the aggressor in those big pots. Hard to tell if some of it is acting or not....he's so good. Either way, he definitely has a strategy for getting max value with the best hand in giant pots in these line ups
That fold by Bob with pocket tens was pure malpractice after checking the turn. (Nick isn't deep enough but) I'd understand if he was raised on the turn and jammed on the river. The way that was played was insane especially against Airball. Kudos to choosing the perfect time&hand to bluff.
It was fun to observe the 3.1 million pot deal in which Wesley made Doug Polk sit in tension like he was actively playing himself in that deal. Probably, Doug thought: 'Damn, why did he show me his hand, now I need to sit with a poker face so long' 😊
Clock on Durrh for sure, what a cruel game. holding up the game on purpouse with bad face expression, oh i got a bad hand. i dont... know if i could call.
Where's Hank's hand against Tom Dwan where the pot was almost 1 million? It was something like the nut straight against a straight. Can't believe it's not included.
Boy oh boy this is a game when men separate themselves from boys. The stakes got to the most of the players and except from durr and rob how were comfortable at the stakes all other players where shivering like little girls on this clip
I feel like Tom taking forever in every hand he’s involved with kinda makes people inclined to call. When your in a hand so long you feel more invested I feel like. He took 10 minutes on the turn with a set and Doug raised him. Taking forever can make people act different in my opinion and can be good strategy for you but annoy everyone else 😂 Tom is still the 🐐
respect to doug, he took the ultra slow roll by dwan (in which he lost 420k just on the river) and getting show a huge bluff by hank and still played well and was happy and didnt tilt (although im sure he's financially fine which helps)
Slow roll would be if he had the stone cold nuts and had no other decision. Not only did he not have the nuts, he had a decision on whether to shove the river. Learn some basics you heathen
slowrolled, not angled. For me it's pretty fair, Tom said he waited until Doug calls the clock to get extra read on his hand, whether to shove or not, and for me seems pretty believable and reasonable.
I don’t think you know what that word means. If Tom shoves, Doug only calls with better and Tom loses. Could be a slow roll maybe but not at all an angle.
29:30 "he needs a diamond...it cannot be the Q or 3 of diamonds..." Why not? It would only give Doug 2 pair, but Hank would still have A high flush. Is there a rule I don't know about? Or did the commentator misspeak?
The real mastery here is conning Billionaires into thinking you are better than the rest of the world in a card game and getting them to back you with millions of dollars. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. And you keep a portion of the money when you win and owe nothing when you don't. A lot of high stake players are broke without their backers. A lot are in debt. And a lot that are ahead now will be in debt sooner or later. Facts.
Bad bluff at river card for Wesley Durr has to call since most of his money already in the pot and no A or K face cards Durr called up to river card Wesley had to know that Durr don’t believe Wes has Ks or As
doesn't it make sense for him to shove in that spot regardless?! A flat call he is already only getting the pot where if he shoves he will still get the same amount from dwan folding anyway?! and if he gets called well then he obviously makes more@@elastronaute1198
A lot of river hollywood by Dwan in those hands😁 Would never consider folding on the river. Call a 5 bet with QQ, flush misses, no over cards.Pot odds 3-1
Genuine question for anyone. When Wesley showed Doug his hand and Doug folded. Why didn’t Doug just get up and leave the table in order not to give away any tells on Wesley’s hand? I mean he had to just sit there stone faced for 10 minutes even tho he wasn’t in the hand. Would it be bad etiquette or something? Feel like I’d anything it’s the right thing to do.

Durr absolutely punishing the whole table in the hand against Doug. 🐐
It's ridiculous. Especially on the turn.
He was angling with those big tanks.

Slow roll. Absolutely not needed.
That kind of playing earned him 4.2 Million that day. Very smart guy always was
I know everyone's hating on Airball but i like the fact that he compliments Wesley and asking if he's ok. I think he has a good heart tbh

I think Haralabos should have called because he had the 10 of clubs. That should have been enough to call in such a close run thing.

because Doug himself wanted to witness the hand knowing Wesley's AK is likely gonna create a huge pot VS Dwan
Because most pots aren’t serious (big) enough where that is a big issue. And when it becomes big, it’s actually a bigger tell for Doug to leave.
