    Wow...finally someone who is a natural teacher. Thank you for this, it answered a lot of questions. I've spent weeks on TH-cam going through countless videos trying to piece this all together, and I learned more in this one video, than all of the others ones combined.
    Very well laid out and explained. Thanks again!

    Going less west is perfectly fine and it's how my instructor would explain things. More east = less west so you can determine whether added or subtracting.
    Great video Tom.

    Thanks so much! The South African CPL covers all of this in the exams, and the study notes only explain it very vaguely. You have helped me so much.

    Shouldn’t shortest be added to the departure definition thus stating that departure is the shortest measuring distance between two longitudes along the same latitude ?

    Can someone tell me what means the abbreviation GNAV when we break it down.
    General NAVigation or
    Grid NAVigation or
    Global NAVigation ??

    • @ATPLTips
      @ATPLTips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! GNav stands for General Navigation, which compliments the other exam RNav which is Radio Navigation.
