@@MSB780 Mary, just rejoice when you feel spiritually nourished by what you read or hear. We are all works in progress and are still trying to build our knowledge of God and His word. And don't feel discouraged by what seems difficult to grasp. A lot of people think that they've already grasped the more difficult themes (that is, they think that can digest meat), but have missed the point. God doesn't judge us on our knowledge, but on what we do to apply in our everyday lives the knowledge we have grasped. Read the beatitudes (that begin with "Blessed are the poor in spirit for they shall see God"). Note how right from the start, when we confess that we need Jesus' help to be saved (that's when we are realizing that we are poor in spirit) we have our ticket to Heaven. And the following beatitudes just describe how we grow in Grace from there on, for our own increasing joy and for the glory of God.
If I get this right then Pastor Asscherick then Pastor Dough Bachelor is wrong when he used all his influence to destroy woman's ordination to become pastors, because we should no longer use the sex (gender ) distinction to affirm worthiness before God according to Galatians 3:26-29. Am I correct in this???
This was just shown for the sermon in my local church. Like after the Great Disappointment when some believers wanted to west and EGW said if they do, to take God with them, so we need to bring Him with us when we go online. You say it so much better than I.
