Agree , born in 1959 in Belgian Congo, evacuated in 1960, I was triggerd by ‘Return to Afrika’, bing watching since a few weeks. Season India 2023, Saison 1-2-3 completed, less interest in the non-travel series 4, starting season 5 and following 7 as it unfolds!
Prepare yourself for the South African hospitality spirit! The biking community is massive and will go out of their way to help at any time. Im South African and had to move overseas for work. I biked every day and miss that so so much! Thanks for bringing my home country back to me from a fresh view. All I can say is explore explore explore! If you get to Namibia you will also be blown away! Ride safe.

There is a TH-cam channel devoted to riders who are past their "best by" age. The general opinion is that old age by itself is not enough reason to give up riding. As long as you are fit enough for the task, keep going. I myself am 75 and ride a Honda Silverwing 600.

Noraley, you could still come the the US and moto around. And you could even go to Alaska through Canada. I think. They let US citizens traverse Canada on certain routes and enter the country certain places to drive to Alaska. But I’m glad your back, you have an interesting show while we are all stuck at home. So many people that cannot travel during this pandemic and it has been a wonderful experience to see all your videos while having to stay in in quarantine. Your great attitude is amazing. Hi Noraly, good luck with your new adventure in life. My wife and I have ridden several times around Southern Africa, and I am sure you will have a great time. My only advice to you is stay out of the cities. Buy your bike and leave Jo'burg as soon as you can. The people in the countryside and small towns are so friendly, but the cities are really trouble. Miss Cape Town, Durban and Jo'Burg ... the rest is spectacular. Head for the Drakensburg mountains and if you are really brave try the Sani pass up to Lesotho. Cheers !

Hi Noraly, good luck with your new adventure in life. My wife and I have ridden several times around Southern Africa, and I am sure you will have a great time.
My only advice to you is stay out of the cities. Buy your bike and leave Jo'burg as soon as you can. The people in the countryside and small towns are so friendly, but the cities are really trouble. Miss Cape Town, Durban and Jo'Burg ... the rest is spectacular.
Head for the Drakensburg mountains and if you are really brave try the Sani pass up to Lesotho. Cheers !
When in Africa say hi to Kinga. When you're done there come to the States. You can ride for years and not see everything

I have to admit to letting myself go after 12 months in self-isolation. I recently had my first of two vaccinations, so hopefully I can get on top of things again soon. You really are an inspiration 🤗🇬🇧
