Thank you so much Sir. I completed my BSC in science and planning to become a teacher of science but was weak at chemistry and physics but by watching such videos and grasping such a great knowledge my confidence level has increased in great way. Someone has said whenever a student is ready to learn then teacher will appear. I neglected my studies in High school days but now by the help of TH-cam channels and such good teacher's learning a lot. thank you so much
@Adrian R I was good only in biology and it was very easy for me and had some knowledge about physics and chemistry. But now I'm equipping myself with complete knowledge, before I had neglected the others streams of science. But now I understood that half knowledge is dangerous so therefore I'm trying to prepare myself for the future. I'm currently doing my b.ed and want to become a school teacher. I think learning online videos will help a lot.
@Adrian R Thank you so much for your appreciation.Actually I'm very busy, I'm doing job in MNC company as executive. Because of this lockdown I'm getting ample of time studying and watching educational videos now. And saw your comment today. I'm very excited to start a new career of my life within 2 months. Since 4 years I was doing a job which I hated to do but it was supporting me to get where I want to go.

YOUR PASSION ABOUT THE SUBJECT IS EVIDENTLY PRESENT ALL OVER THIS VIDEO. ...A WORLD CLASS PROFESSOR WORTH GOLD. GOD BLESS!!
I took chemistry to ONC level back in the 60s in the UK but I never came across teaching as clear and succinct as this. Thank you for the video. Really enjoyed re-visiting the subject.
I have always found physics and chemistry fascinating. I wish I would of applied myself more when I was younger and pursued a career in something involving them. Never too late to start though. I am very excited to go through these courses and see what I can do. Even if it is just as hobby. I will find much enjoyment through these courses. Ty!
Classic content...still shot with a VHS camcorder. Love it. I used to rent this series years ago on Netflix when I was studying Calculus and Physics. Peace!!!!!
I've watched probably a dozen basic chemistry videos these last two weeks, and read about just as many written explanations. I could not find anyone who would clearly and precisely define elements and molecules. This one came the closest and I was able to pick out the last few pieces of the puzzle I was missing by some of the things stated in this video. Thank you! From my assessment, I see about three different uses of the term 'element'. In one sense, it merely refers to "a type of atom". This is an individualistic definition. In another definition, the term is used in collective sense, and refers to an unspecified collection of atoms all of the same kind (e.g. describing a jar filled with nitrogen gas). In another sense, the term 'element' refers to the groups that these kinds of atoms naturally form (e.g. nitrogen atoms tend to naturally pair up, forming a molecule, and constituting what we call a 'diatomic element'). In summary, the term 'element' can refer to an individual atom, a general collection of similar atoms, or the specific molecules those atoms are likely to live within. Took me two solid weeks to hammer that out. And please anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanking you for dedicating yourself to us because now I can understand what I missed in school. Thank you .

Thank you, as you have blessed our eyes with education my lousy teachers simply can’t recreate. We need more people like you, people who are passionate to teach instead of being forced to.
Thank you Justin for dusting the cobwebs out of my brain. It’s been years since I graduated from high school and nursing school and I’m getting ready to go back to school for a science major. Again thank you so much
There are no bad students , just bad teachers. They don't know how to teach that is what cause kids don't want to learn. I wish every teacher a good as this one.
He’s the best teacher, my respects and admiration that you dedicate your time to students like me who want to learn Science, step by step. I am in my 50s, and I passed 3 GED exams. Next week is my Science GED exam and that’s why I need to study more and I hope I can pass! 👍🏻
Watching this because it's been a decade since I last had chemistry. I shifted what I am taking for undergraduate degree and needed to refresh before I get to Organic Chemistry. it's nice to see videos like this
Make a note please 1. Large number of homogeneous molecules constitute element 2. Large number of heterogeneous molecules constitute compound. 3. Element is not same as atom. 4. Compound is not same as molecule. 5. In Chemistry, based on its composition matter is described as element or compound or complex or mixture.
Thanks for that extra oomf of explanation. Very helpful. Chemistry is concerned with precision! I'm retired, homeschooling myself Chemistry and Unit 1, Ch 1 of the book I got explained compound in such a way that I think of them as SPECIFIC RECIPES of molecules. I.e., you MUST have 12 of A and 33 of B to get C, which will weigh 45. 5 of A and 40 of B will NOT make C even tho it's 45. COMPOUND, a dependable new thing.
Thanks teacher! This is my first time learning chemistry and I think it'll be very interesting as I'll start it's class this year so, wish me luck in all my classes. Thank you!
I absolutely love the way he teaches and how he takes his time to explain everything step by step. Being patient and thorough is extremely helpful!! Thank you so very much!! ❤

I’m taking chemistry next year and Im actually kind of excited !! I like how we get to see it in our every day lives it’s so interesting !! To be honest
Goodluck to anyone who is studying chemistry wish you guys all of luck
And thank you for this video,, made me so much more confident 💕💕

I was going to tell you a joke, about what happened when sodium, walked into a whorehouse, and met hydrogen...
But Nah!
Why you did not complete this whole course
I am chemistry student
This guy!!!!!!?? You should say This teacher , talk with respect
This gentleman is well learned! He simplified the teaching so well that I am finally getting somewhere! Thank you kindly God bless you
This is Sept of 2023 and this is the BEST teaching method. I'm taking online classes bc I didn't have a choice and I don't like the way my teacher teaches the class. she only explains by the book and This video takes step by step and shows me things that I didn't know that they don't teach in class.... Thank you. From MD.
15:22 ferrous is an adjective meaning containing ferrum (iron)
I’m ten mins in my first ever episode and already thinking of graduation outfits.
Excited by his clear and detailed delivery.
I’m excited 👍🏾
Thank you Teacher, Thank you.
Some teachers are so gifted.you are one of them.looking forward for more videos
I just finished high school and I don't see myself going to college. I just feel like just because I'm not in school anymore doesn't mean I should stop learning.
Being a chemistry teacher for last 40 years I salute you for your clarity, alacrity and commitment to fascinating teaching
May God bless you
Very much appreciate your kind words!

By listening to Jim rohn and Les brown I have came to know that we should be doing a job which makes us happy and satisfied and in which we can use our 100 percent potential. I'm very excited to start a new career of my life within 2 months. Since 4 years I was doing a job which I hated to do but it was supporting me to get where I want to go.
I had a hard time in high school with chemistry. My teacher just didn’t seem to want to be there. Sometimes I wonder if this online method is a better way for teachers
are you from england
you are the sincerest teacher I have ever seen I can't get enough of your explanation. Thanks and Be blessed
i coulnt agree more

I am 15 years old and extremely interested in being a meteorologist. I have straight 98 and up grades in science all my life but my school did not put me in advanced science classes because I need to be in advanced history to do so. this helps a lot and I really wanted to a little ahead on my science education. thanks so much!
i am so excited for where you will go in life! what a great treasure you are to this world! keep up the hard work 🙏
I am glad I found you. My son can get an education through your channel. Have a blessed day.
I love a teacher that isnt dead on the inside like the dad from coraline. you have passion!
I am blown away!!! content is so rich. Thankyou for being so humble about your acquired knowledge, I am extremelly grateful for your time and efforts in making such video available to the public free of charge. Thankyou!!! I am a grown woman who actually understands chemistry now (though i have a degree in science, AS) chemistry was a weak subject for me....THANKYOU FOR BRINGING IN SUCH LIGHT AND UNDERSTANDING TO MY PERSONAL BEING.
YOUR PASSION ABOUT THE SUBJECT IS EVIDENTLY PRESENT ALL OVER THIS VIDEO. ...A WORLD CLASS PROFESSOR WORTH GOLD.
GOD BLESS!!
i hope i will be strong in chemistry like you it gives me a headache
WHAT SURPRISES ME IS THOSE PEOPLE WHO DISLIKE SUCH BEAUTIFUL AND NEAT VIDEO!
I took chemistry to ONC level back in the 60s in the UK but I never came across teaching as clear and succinct as this. Thank you for the video. Really enjoyed re-visiting the subject.
The 60s sound like such a great time to have experienced
I have always found physics and chemistry fascinating. I wish I would of applied myself more when I was younger and pursued a career in something involving them. Never too late to start though. I am very excited to go through these courses and see what I can do. Even if it is just as hobby. I will find much enjoyment through these courses. Ty!
Jared you are very welcome!
TheEpigram Seems like you’re spot on!
I've been studying for the HESI exam, and I have been out of school for 15 years. You have been the most helpful. You have made it so clear, and I'm no longer as scared to learn chemistry. You are a great teacher. I feel the passion in your work. You gave me a lot of motivation! I wish biology videos were just as good as this! Thank you again!
I am 8 yrs and I just started watching your vedios...its just interesting. I wanted to become an astronaut. And you are gng to be my online teacher for chemistry.
@@_CrankyLife thnk you🤩
Thanks!
This instructor is one of my all time favorites. He pops up everywhere when I am researching things just to learn
I am in my 50s and I learnt more now than when I was in high school!!
This is the perfect chemistry teacher!
I really learn from this i have been out of college for 6 years am planning to go back to school thank you very much for the lesson
I HATED school so much because I was so scared of getting whooped at school by the teachers for not getting the passing grades, now in a different country and as an adult with no beatings, studying has now become one of my favorite things to do. Thanking you for dedicating yourself to us because now I can understand what I missed in school. Thank you .
You are a very very good teacher.

This man single handily helped me pass chemistry
Thank God I search for this it helped me a lot 🙏 chemistry is life
Wow. I am blown away. I am soon starting middle school, and I am astonished at how much this simple video helped me. I have watched many other videos of this amazing series and I’m starting to gain confidence in chemistry. I’m sure these will help out when I actually start school. Thank you, as you have blessed our eyes with education my lousy teachers simply can’t recreate. We need more people like you, people who are passionate to teach instead of being forced to.
He actually made crystal clear
Lots of respect towards you
This teacher has the gift of teaching God called him to the classroom.
well structured lecture. it was very interesting to watch. thanks a lot.
great lesson.
Very good guy. He shares his heart out for Chemistry
My first time doing Chem for Nursing school! Thank you so much for explaining so in depth and with ease! From South Africa!
dawg im in a freshmen in college and this video was actually more helpful than every lecture I've been too so far, thank you.
I love the way he's breaking it down and starting from scratch 🙌 ❤
I shifted what I am taking for undergraduate degree and needed to refresh before I get to Organic Chemistry. it's nice to see videos like this
Make a note please
1. Large number of homogeneous molecules constitute element
Thank you!
Math and Science, It is a pleasure to listen to you, you make it so easy to learn this chemistry course.
I absolutely love the way he teaches and how he takes his time to explain everything step by step. Being patient and thorough is extremely helpful!! Thank you so very much!! ❤
No idea why I am here. I am 26 and haven’t been in school for years, but now I’m hooked. Excited to learn something new!
