I'm not the target audience either...But I still like it! I also use it on my daughter who, as a 6 year old whose hair has never been cut, has some damage on her ends. I've been using Olaplex on her for years and her hair is down below her waist in lovely ringlets.
I actually use this as a pre poo. I saw it mentioned on another channel and decided to try it. Think it works really well. I apply to damp hair in the morning, and then wash my hair in the evening. Works well.
This oil, in my opinion, acts like a watery silicone based serum. My hair does not like silicone based serums, especially watery (frizz inducing) so this oil was a no go for me. However, for hair that likes silicone but the person wearing the hair does not like the consequences of silicone (i.e. build up, etc.), I think this might work well.

Oh interesting! I never thought about a protein oil for a pre-poo!
I love the smell of curlsmith products! For some reason this oil makes my hair crazy frizzy..
It could be that this is a protein based oil so your hair could be sensitive to it 🤷🏽♀️
