“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. * Jesus - the first begotten Son of God, is our role model to manifesting as Sons of God
“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”
Revelation 1:4-5 KJV
* He came as the Son of God to raise many more sons to Glory
“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”
Hebrews 2:9-10 KJV
* The world is tired of our explanations, they await out manifestations.
* Everywhere He (Jesus) went, He manifested - Acts 10:38
* The Apostles also manifested greatly - the shadow of Peter was healing the sick.
* We are called to do greater works - John 14:12
* However manifesting as sons of God, doing the works of Jesus and greater works will require looking unto Jesus - Heb. 12:1-2/ Eph. 5:1 (AMPC)/ John 5:19
ENDUEMENT WITH POWER TO MANIFEST AS SONS REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING;
1. Alignment with the Cross - Heb. 12:1-2
2. Intimacy with the Father - John 5:19/ John 10:30/ Mk. 1:35
3. Love and Compassion for the Brethern - Matt. 15:32/ I Corinth. 13:13
4. Submission to the Will of the Father - John 16:12-14/ Lk. 22:42
5. Obedience of Faith - Hebrews 5:8
