Hi there is there any chance you could make a video on how to timestrech a whole song to match the other songs bpm on track 2 haven't seen a video like this for cubasis 3 and im having difficulty myself could someone pls help me out.
A great app to prevent them from being recorded in the first place is Brusfi by Klevgrand. But to remove after the fact you can eliminate the spaces in between the vocals in the actual wave form. Here's an example using a different program called Audacity but the technique is the same in every DAW including Cubasis: th-cam.com/video/5ne5k9NO7R0/w-d-xo.html. There's also a great app called WavePad that has a noise reduction effect in it that may help you apps.apple.com/us/app/wavepad-music-and-audio-editor/id395339564?platform=ipad
@@MobileMusicProThanks for the quick response. I'd like to make a request tho, thinking of getting atom 2 piano roll, can you please make a video on how its functions could improve midi workflow Cubasis and how it compares to the inbuilt piano roll. Thanks Vortex!
@@rubix9872 There are certainly ALOT of videos that have already covered Atom and indeed we covered Atom a bit in our video here: th-cam.com/video/3CPjw-cuTrM/w-d-xo.html
Y’know, it never occurs to me to do this sort of thing actually inside Cubasis- I tend to do all my sample-wrangling in AUM, then Audioshare the result over to CB3 fully formed. Probably because I have no idea how to freeze tracks and don’t like to run into any CPU issues... Some nice tips here- thank you!
AUM is fantastic but if you're going to output into Cubasis anyway hehe it may speed up your workflow to be doing the sampling modification inside cubasis :)
@@MobileMusicPro I’m sure you’re right Vortex- but I’ve picked up what I’ve learned piecemeal over the last couple of years without any background in this at all. And I’m the wrong side of 60- I’m supposed to be doing light gardening and moaning about this sort of thing!
No grouping (glue) of (audio) objects!?! No ripple editing! Region selection is a pain in the... No custom shortcuts! FX cause audible phasing. This software is way below of what is possible and neccessary - probably on purpose (to move people to Cubase eventually). Cubasis is only one step above garage band and cannot be used for professional work thus it's nothing more than a toy - and an expensive one at that. Clever but lame business model - typical of Yamaha. Good video though.
Not sure what fx you're using that causes audible phasing but the stock fx inside cubasis are pretty awesome plus there's a near unlimited amount of AUv3 plugins and instruments. Yes there's some stuff missing still but it's only on v3. I know many that use it as a professional tool already and $50 is far cheaper than the cheapest $200 desktop version. Also Cubasis is made by steinberg, not yamaha. Really looking forward to see where Cubasis is at by end of the decade.

Yet another useful episode - cheers Vortex.
Thanks so much Alexander! :)
Great video, lot‘s of things I didn‘t know. I‘m really still learning the basics of Cubasis, have to put more time into it.
Thanks Florian! :)
This channel is a bible, wow super pro explanation, good job!
Thank you so much! :)
Segments is great.
Absolutely, love that app :)

The technique is the same, select the audio and then stretch out the entire clip until it's on the BPM you need.
Can you do a video on tape stop effects for cubasis 3
We just did a video on using the spin fx app that has tape stop effects built into it :) th-cam.com/video/Nrc07GZR-pw/w-d-xo.html

@@MobileMusicPro Awesome! Thank you. :)
So, will this work for clicks that are within a vocal?
@@princessl.d.g. For clicks inside a vocal you may need to run the noise reduction effect in the wavepad app we recommended in previous comment.
Nice Video!!!! FYI. Perforator is by Brambos not Klevgrand. 😀
Ahh I always get them mixed up!
Holy Crap, I didn’t know you can transpose audio files on Cubasis. I thought N-track Studio was the only one that can do that.
Nah you can do that in any mobile DAW including Cubasis. Cubasis of course let's you transpose both midi and audio.
@@MobileMusicPro I remember now in gb it’s called course tuning I believe. Just another word for it👍🏼
If I do already have Mixbox which is a great plugin in my opinion, do I still need some of these effect apps?
Mixbox does pretty much everything. But sometimes it's nice to have one app that's meant to do one job and take up less cpu.

How can I stretch the sample in order to change it’s pitch in Cubasis? Or any iOS app
When I stretch a sample I don’t want it to remain the same pitch every time when doing sound design
@@jin2984 Hey Jin, you can either use the timestretch option or the transpose option.
Is there a way to loop a sample without having to copy and paste it?
The only way would be to long tap on the audio clip and have the whole project loop.
