It's been a while since you wrote this but I sincerely hope you are doing better! Yes, this is warfare! I have struggled with this, literally painfully so, my entire life, since I can first remember. Laziness, procrastination, no vision or motivation, no umph. Like a wet blanket of depression keeping me from my dreams and locked into this slacker underachiever. I guess it's really a form of depression and ADHD, but I truly believe it's a curse, a device of the enemy to keep me from achieving what God has for me to do for His Kingdom. Everyday I pray simply to focus.

I don't know if I am lazy or not. I know that I work very hard and I am tired. I do know that I can do better, however. Also I know that discouragement, lack of purpose, grief, fear, unbelief, etc can also sap our strength. Without purpose, many lack the will to get out of the bed. Also as I said, sorrow and grief can paralyze a person's will to go on. We can all do better, however.

Yes, this is warfare! I have struggled with this, literally painfully so, my entire life, since I can first remember. Laziness, procrastination, no vision or motivation, no umph. Like a wet blanket of depression keeping me from my dreams and locked into this slacker underachiever. I guess it's really a form of depression and ADHD, but I truly believe it's a curse, a device of the enemy to keep me from achieving what God has for me to do for His Kingdom. Everyday I pray simply to focus.

Also I know that discouragement, lack of purpose, grief, fear, unbelief, etc can also sap our strength. Without purpose, many lack the will to get out of the bed. Also as I said, sorrow and grief can paralyze a person's will to go on. We can all do better, however.
