I have this pedal since one year. Great purchase. It's sounds amaizing in stereo setup where you can mix effects, or use them separately on each channel. It has also EQ and compressor. Slow volume, phaser, chorus, tremolos are my favourite effects
I've had mine for a few months now and I LOVE it! I got the Triple Switch too which opens up more functionality. Synesthesia has replaced multiple pedals on my board, as well as money.
@@paolo-1283 You can have 2 algorithms on each preset. Delay and Reverb are sort of hidden in other patches, and you can add them to something else like a Chorus. Find some videos on how to edit the Synesthesia.
@@ChadWork1Hey, are you still digging this pedal? I’m considering buying it but seeing a lot of mixed opinions. Either it’s amazing or it’s bland / flat sounding. I think this video really showcase a warm, natural sound. Where in most other videos, it’s either those over the top factory presets or just basic chorus/phaser/vibrato which often sounds quite uninspired to my ears. Not sure if I should go for this or something like the Deco or Zelzah. Different beasts obviously.
@@MrSlimfinger I still think it sounds great! It's the only modulation pedal I need on my big board. It sounds warm and analog to me. You can totally adjust a lot of settings in the software. I did get a 3 button "Triple Switch" to bank up and down through the sounds. That also allows me to tap tempo the modulation. I highly recommend that too. Anyway, I have no complaints. Totally worth the money! You may find a used one on Reverb for cheaper.
Ah crap. I bought the walrus audio mako M1 because all the other synthesia demos were too weird. I'm now questioning my decision as it sounds like it does tremelo, dimension C, univibe etc really well.
that's because most of this tone is from whatever amp he's using. i could tell right out the gate. this thing is a stinker tone wise and the demos and reviewers are trying to mask that.
Man how do you get the Slow Volume setting? I wanted to set it up like Boss Slow Gear but really cant :( I want those juicy volume swells. But great video nonetheless!
Do u think sonically it would be a good upgrade to the Boss MD-500? The MD-500 is close to all my modulation and I’m not the biggest fan of its tone. Love the chorus on it though. Kinda thinking about replacing it with analog pedals for all the modulation I like to use, but curious about the Synesthesia.
I’m torn whether to get this or an H90. I’m really looking for some fun modulation effects and a pitch shifter. I’m pretty good with my other effects now!
Mono in and sound quality of the effects leaves a lot to be desired when compared to many options, modern and older. Guarantee most of your sound here was from a super sexy dialed in amp just to get it to sound as halfway decent as you did.
I’m not sure, I’ve been eyeing the H90 and other alternatives but just going by the sounds quality alone, I still haven’t heard another multi effects pedal that sounds as natural as the Synesthesia. What other options are you thinking of?
@@MrSlimfinger I feel like a Line 6 Helix or a Boss GT1000 would destroy in those categories. Do you own a Synesthesia? I'm assuming no but if I had to guess based on everything I've seen and heard, it wouldn't sound as good out of the box and would be harder to 'dial in'. Maybe even needing certain amps/speakers to make it sound its best. All that being said I have neither a helix or a gt1000 but I would leap at an h90 before any of them but that's because of the style of music I'm into and want to create. Experimental, psychedelic meaning I want something with a LUSH sound and tons of crazy options for routing, dual channel, dual routing, stereo in, stereo out, etc.
No, coming up on 3 years since it was released. There hasn't been much in the multi-modulation space released since. Amplitube X-Vibe, Walrus Audio Mako M1, Universal Audio Astra are the only ones that come to mind.

I like your demo but I think there are too much lower end in your sound for demo. It does let me appreciates how different effects “modulates”. By the way, a great demo and play.
Love your channel man. Found it a couple months ago, but I wish I found you sooner. Your playing is phenomenal
Wow, so beautifully played. Great tone to start with the demonstration.

Wooow! you have to share (sell?) these presets, so good!
My favourite person to demo this!

Can you stack multiple effects in the preset mode like for example a chorus with delay an reverb?

Really enjoyed your work flow perspective and the sounds and playing are killer!
Thanks, Alex!
i just purchase this after watch this video, thankyou so much “bwangg”!!
amazing video!!
Pozdravi iz Crne Gore. Greetings from Montenegro.
Great review. I like your style
Holy shit. These sounds!
You are a great player sir. Subscribed
Thanks a lot!
Was about to pull the trigger on a Walrus M1… this has me second guessing myself now. Have you tried an M1 by comparison at all?
What did you end up getting? I'm trying to decide between the two as well. The walrus definitely seems faster to dial in cuz it's simpler
@@jordanebacher I got the GFI. It’s great but not simple in my opinion. I think if I were to replace it I’d get a wampler terraform.

I haven’t compared the two but I’m certain you’d dig this!
Same here. I think I’m going to return it and pick one of these up used!
I’ve had the Synesthesia over a year and can’t coax those tones.

To be completely honest it’s a factory setting 🤣 I selected it and it did this. If it ain’t broke…

What is the best reverb pedal 2024 guys? Ambient drone stuff.
Best Dual MOD!

Can you change the volume of each preset?
You can!

most of the sound is coming from his amp which I'm sure he had to dial in to get it to sound good. this thing is not great tone wise.
