    I enjoy your videos very much. I'm sure you've heard this before but I think you bear a strong resemblance to the American actor Ray Liotta. Good to see you and Mads had fun together. I'd love to visit Vancouver and surrounding areas someday with my boat.

      @lifeislikesailing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ken Morgan Sorry for the delay on my response Ken, for some reason I didn't get a notification that you commented? Anyways I am glad you are enjoying the videos and yes for sure I had a blast sailing around with Mads and making the Cruising Canada series! I haven't heard that before that I resemble Ray Liotta, but some people have said Colin Farrell. haha I hope you can get to Vancouver with your boat one day! What do you have and where are you located?

      LifeisLikeSailing - Vancouver, BC I have a Northern 35 steel yawl built on the Canadian side of Lake Huron in 1963. Purchased in 2012 in Indiantown, FL. I've done a lot of work on it since then and have about half a dozen projects left before it will be ready for blue water. I had an insurance survey done last month which included ultrasonic thickness testing of the hull and the boat passed with flying colors. I'm recently retired here in FL and plan to complete my ASA certifications before doing any serious sailing; I did some years in the Navy where I learned navigation, charts, radar, etc. but need experience. I've thought of making some short videos of the boat and work I've done but don't ever seem to have time. Not sure how you find time...but it's a beautiful part of Canada you live in. I've only ever been to Toronto and Montreal; would like to go out west sometime. Thanks again for the great videos. Ken in Orlando

      ken Moran Sounds like you have a good boat and a great plan!! It is difficult to find the time to make videos, but the more I do the more efficient it gets....I think? haha Would be great to see some videos by others like yourself and I hope you can get to the West Coast one day!!

      joel1239871 Thanks!! I'm glad that the fairly average camera equipment I have can take decent quality video. If I ever do the TransPac then I will get even better equipment! haha
