I think this is one of the best creatures that you ever made so cool I want to buy her but I think I don't have so many money this is my favourite creature that you ever made 😃😱💗💗
Attatching the hands with hooks! It's so simple I never would have thought! Thank you so much for posting these videos. I've only been making floppy art dolls, and am currently working on my first posable one. This helps so much! I'm gonna go trim the wires and fom hooks before I Rage quit figuring out how to wrap the fabric around the form haha. And of course, your work is brilliant. Thank you so much again for sharing your knowledge!
You young lady are amazing, your instruction is clear and easy to understand, your art is superb. Thank you so much for sharing you wonderful imagination and hard work with us. 💕🤗💕
I love how she gets her to stand up with out using the tail for support but if I make a bipedal doll it wants to fall on it's face. Anyway you did so good on the doll!
Oh wow, you've grown so much! The raptor looks so beautiful! I still have my raptor I commissioned you (the pastel pink one!), but I must say; I love this one! The more realistic anatomy looks great!
As much as i want to make poseable dolls i cant bc i dont have supplies other than paint and i dont know where to get any of the items. P.S. I love you and your videos so much
Norma Rodríguez no problem I’m starting to make fairy houses out of paper clay and I ordered all of my materials online since there isn’t a local craft store (that I know of) where I live
Thank you :) Yeah online is the best way to find everything. I mainly get my stuff on eBay. But once in a while I do get things on Etsy. Theirs a lot of sellers selling the same thing so just shop around for the best price.
Your creatures are incredible. Thank you for sharing. What is it that you are using for the plastic to build the head on? Also, where do you get your glass eyes and fur? Thank you.
Thank you so much :) I'm just using an upside-down candle holder but any heat safe glass would work fine. The fur fabrics I get on eBay (normally just the shops with the best price when I'm shopping) And then the glass eyes I like buying from a Etsy shop called Nixcreations.
@@bubblyleafcreations Thank you. What diameters did you use for eyes on this creature. I suspect I'll need to buy an assortment to get the feel for their size.
your welcome! this pair was 16mm. Looking at my last orders I tend to stay around 14mm and 20mm unless I'm doing something really small or super large. But yeah it depend on how you want your eyes to look. lol
This is gonna be quite a random comment, but I was wondering if you'd ever consider making a tutorial for a shoulder puppet? I really would like to make one so I can go to the renaissance fair with a little side kick. :3 Your artwork is also absolutely stunning, keep up the fantastic work!
Here you go. :) I used the one called purple dye, but I really want to try the other colors. www.ebay.com/itm/Multi-Color-Dye-Fuzzy-Faux-Fur-Apparel-Blanket-Fabric-Sold-By-The-Yard-60/273482326334?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3Dcfa1409741fd479da098a4d3f56f85c9%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D283182026751%26itm%3D273482326334&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
Everything you make turns out amazing! I followed your tutorials to make my own dragon design art doll, and I'm stuck at getting a good seal on the paint - may I ask, how do you apply the resin?
Thank you :) look up a brand of acrylic paint called Basic, their pretty cheap but still work just fine. For the resin I mix up a small amount, and brush it on to the clay pieces. Use Plastic bristle brushes (the real cheap kind) that way you don't get hairs in the resin.
hey i love this, especially those crystals! would have thought they'd just be glued in but sewing really makes the extra mile of it looking great. can i ask how you normally film these? like what kind of camera and editing software? i'd love to make videos like this someday.
Thank you :) sewing the crystals actually saved time too, cause I didn't have to go back over it. Plus you don't get any glue lumps! lol Yeah, The software I use is just iMovie, its free and does what I need so I haven't had to upgrade that yet. And the camera I use now it a Canon Rebel SL2.
Question, I've tried baking the head with glass eyes, some that I bought off of etsy, but they just turn opaque. Almost like a foggy white. Not only that, the paint (or whatever gives the eyes a design) just melts off. Not sure if its just the eyes I bought or if i'm just stupid. I follow clay baking instructions to a T, but should I just lower the temp? My only worry is the clay wont bake all the way through. Just so afraid to start over and the same thing happen again. Please help!
Hello! It sounds like its the eyes, they might be using some kind of cheaper product to make them or seal them. Check out the Etsy seller Nixcreations, that's where I've been getting a lot of my eyes and I've never had a problem with them baking in the oven.
the primer is just the normal acrylic paint that I'm using for all the other painting. I mainly do it to help with blending colors plus the clay doesn't take the first layer of paint nicely and it helps the rest of the paint stick to the piece better.
the primer is resin, and the resin makes the clay stronger and protects the clay from breaking and keeps the paint on the face and other parts from chipping :)
Very beutiful. I hope one day I can have enough money to ask you for a sculpture. I really love how you did it wih the pink and purple. The golden axcents (sorry if I spelled it wrong. English is kinda my second language) compliment the other two colors. Overall it is a very beutiful sculpture and I wish you best of luck for other following projects. P.S.- I know you did this for another person, but I didn't know how else I could say it. 1 like on this comment = 1 'I love her work'
I reallllllllllllly want one of those with wings and claws of the galaxy raptor. The wing like the winged dragon. One wuestion do they break easily and are kids aloud to play with them? Its actually sad that i cant afford it i am a big fan and dream of making them. I dont have clay i dont have wites and i dont have materials . Also im not aloud the sow every day snd im a kid
Right now I'm not taking commissions but when I am a good example of price and size would be a 12 inch long piece for about $120. Price is based off of size and detail of what you would like so it could be more or less, this is just an average.

How do you keep the head from tipping over? Is it just the armature being made of a thicker wire or is the head just light?
