      @@riggermortisfpv526 For sure. What are you planning on installing? I have a couple on the go. One build being i7-4770, GT 1050 low profile, 32GB RAM, new power supply, and a new tower case. You can upgrade the CPU also, I did that on my M73 that came with a Core i3 3.7 ghz dual core and moved to a Xeon quad core 8 threads 3.4 ghz and the performance improved a lot, also I have my machine with 16 gb of DDR· 1600mhz, a 480 gb SSD and a GT 710 2 gb. Since your machine has two PCI-E 16x you can put and M2 adapter and install a NVME SSD, it is way much faster than the traditional SSD (Sadly I can not do that on my rig because it has only one PCI-E 16x and it is occupied with the GT 710). I would recommend to disconnect the DVD RW unless you really need it frequently, since you added a Graphics card it will come more power (that power supply is not intended for many internal devices).

    Hello I have some questions pls-pls answer 😅
    1.) Can i put a singlefan Asus GTX 750ti without changing the PSU or buying any other wires?
    2.) Can I add a 128GB Kingston SSD without using/buying any additional wires or etc? Because I won't remove the stock 500GB HDD
    3.) Is the 5.25 Optical DVD Drive replaceable or removable?
    Pls-pls reply, Your answer is would be worthy as gold...Thank You!🤗

    • @HaisteComputerRepair

      1) This would work with the stock PSU: www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/gigabyte-gtx-750-ti-low-profile-oc.b5381
      2) You can add a 128GB SSD of any brand, but you need to purchase 1 x SATA cable to plug from the drive to the motherboard. Also, you need 1 x SATA Y Power Splitter so you can power the drive and keep your existing HDD and Optical Drive powered as well. You could unplug the connections from the optical drive and use those for the SSD, but then you would not have an optical drive to use.
      3) The optical drive is completely optional. If you use it, keep it. If not, like I said in #2 you can unplug the SATA connections and use those for the SSD.
      I recommend installing Windows to the SSD and using the HDD as storage. Follow the directions in this video to install it all. Good luck.

      @@shinkishimoto7607 No worries, feel free to ask questions. Just like in my video, you can use something like a plastic tie wrap to fasten it below the HDD. Once you take a look, be creative and you'll find a place to put it. It's crowded and it might look messy, but it's not like you'll be forced to look at it when it's enclosed in a tower case.

    • @HaisteComputerRepair
      @HaisteComputerRepair  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can seat the SSD in front of the intake fan. Just use something like electrical tape to fasten it to the case. Then, there will be a bit of cooling from the fan and it's out of the way from the HDD. Or use tie straps to fasten it under the HDD. Use a SATA Y Splitter to get power to both drives. Mine has a 240W 80+ bronze PSU (china OEM?)
    Isit worth it to slap a 1050ti on it? Or just swap an ssd n run win10?
    I got my hands one 1 with win 7 pro and 1tb ssd. i5-4460 8gb ram (but somehow the task manager showed that it's using 3gb on idle.)

      If you have the budget or find a cheap GT 1050ti I would go for it. Look for an i7-4770 CPU to swap out for the i5 and you will have a nice little tower. If you check out my other M93p videos I have tried out this configuration with good results.

      Yes definitely. It would help to at least invest in the 128GB SSD, keep a HDD for storage and running games, and get up to 8GB RAM. So, I guess a better response would be to ask what you currently have running or what is in the one you are looking at purchasing? Btw, I just tested a Radeon Pro Wx 3200 4GB and it's a nice boost for what came out to $180CAD as a trade in from a customer.
      Go here: www.pcgamebenchmark.com/

      First step should be the purchase of an SSD or two, depending on what you need. RAM next. If you can get either 4 x 2GB DDR3 1333MHz or 1600MHz. Or, 2 x 4GB for dual channel 8GB. 4 x 4GB for 16GB is good too. Last should be the 2GB graphics card. You may not need it right away for running virtual machines. Nice video card choice. Take a look at the label printed on your RAM that is already installed and Google what speed it is in MHz. Then find some DDR3 RAM to install. I have installed various configurations with various brands and they all tend to work. Match up brands if you can though, or buy RAM in sets. Main thing to consider is the speed. You could end up installing one stick with less speed and the system will automatically run all RAM at that speed. Upgrade to 16GB if you can, to match the ferocity of the 1030 :)

    • @HaisteComputerRepair
      @HaisteComputerRepair  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can keep the HDD and install the SSD as a boot drive. You need 1x SATA Y power splitter and 1 x SATA cable to power both drives unless you want to remove the cables from the optical drive and not use that anymore. The video shows how to do this. If you need to back anything up or retain the Windows key, do that before wiping the HDD and installing Win 10 to the SSD. Both cables I have sourced from eBay for less than $5 CAD. As for the 1650 low profile, I think it would work. The M93p has PCI E 3.0 and according to this site the card is PCI Express 3.0. Also, it's rated as 75W, so you would probably be ok with the stock 240W power supply. Keep in mind this is my speculation, I haven't tried it myself. Let me know if you do, I would love to find out. www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-gaming-geforce-gtx-1650-low-profile-gddr6#spec

If I wanted the benefits of a newer model of ThinkCentre, I would purchase the entire system and then proceed with the CPU, RAM, etc upgrades. Hi great video! I have one doubt, hope you can answer... I just buy this PC, but I'm not sure if I paid to much for it or not... could you tell me how much it cost at this time (approximately) and how long is this PC since it was released for the first time? thanks!

      I purchased 10 of these for roughly $1200 CAD. I believe 2013 was the release date. I'm not sure how much they cost back then, but I imagine around $600? So, I would sell one with all the upgrades in the video for about $235. This is also based on what I paid for SSDs, RAM, and video cards. If I get parts for cheaper, I go cheaper, etc. It is a solid choice still for many things, in my opinion.

      I want to say yes, it would work. That would be excellent. I have only tried 4GB stick configurations personally. If you do it, let me know how it goes :)

    Can a GTX 1060 ti 4gb work for this?

      Yes, but I believe even with the low profile version of this car you may need a PCIe power plug. So, you could get a SATA to PCIe adapter. Maybe a power supply upgrade as well, though that may be optional.
