I just started watching your videos. I've been into modeling for years, and I find Gunpla to be very interesting and full of wonderful techniques to bring to other scale modeling ventures. I just wanted to say thank you for being a content creator. You and your Husband's videos are wonderful. Keep having fun.
@@frostedsnow COVID-19 has definitely put a dampener on business around here. A lot of game stores and whatnot are shutting down unfortunately in response. Interestingly though, it’s caused a sort of second Gunpla boom here in the U.S. I guess with all of the extra free time from being quarantined people have been building models again which is awesome because it’s making the community around here grow exponentially.
Went to Japan and Taiwan last year for work, and I've never been the same since seeing what a hobby shop can be. Was able to hit up Newtype HQ in-person a couple times and like them, but jeez I wish the US had a larger hobby fan base that did more than trains.
Stay safe and wear gloves and stuff please! Also I'm jealous of how popular gunpla is in Korea and Japan. Even the Phillipines is lit. I have Gundam Planet in Palisades Park, NJ and I lost my mind when I walked in there. This is even more nuts
Oh man I would kill to go somewhere like this. The only place within 100km of me that has any gunpla has about 3-6 kits at a time. I have to order every single thing online.
I live in Japan and if I didn't know any better and wasn't paying attention to the signs in Hangul, I'd have thought that this was a video taken inside a store here. It's interesting to see the paints and supplies as I've been curious what is available in other countries. I assume that Koong's and IPP must be Korean paint companies. We don't have those here.
frostedsnow no I was at camp Humphreys but made a bunch of trips to the Suwon AK plaza gundam base (up on the 6th floor) and got to go to the gundam base at Ipark mall once. I wish I had known about the stores in Hongdae when I was there they look amazing!

With everything going on with COVID-19 it's pretty understandable, but Hongdae HF will be sorely missed. It has been one of my very few favorite Hongdae spots I frequented over the last couple of years.

Hi I'm interested in gundam converge kits I went to the website but it's all in Korean and I don't understand

Gunpla is now officially carried in hobby lobby so the day isn't far out.

For those of us across the pond, this is just incredible. I mean I’m lucky to see a small section of Gunpla locally, but this....this is mind blowing.
We are lucky in Korea, but too bad this store closed down now :(

We are so very lucky in Korea/Asia to have such a big gunpla market. So lucky to hit up Newtype though. I wanna visit in person.
I was really surprised to hear "Emeral Sword" from the band "Rhapsody of Fire" in the background.
Loved the video!
Glad you enjoyed!
My number 1 stop when I visit Korea every year. Hobby land in daegu is a nice store too, although smaller has decent prices and some gems.
Haven't been to Daegu but it's awesome they have a good store there too!
Great so apparentaly I lived only 20 minutes away from this store for half a year and never noticed, now that I know of this it's closed xD
