Be careful buying jackets with 'fake' or 'faux' for. It almost all comes from China and a lot of dog and cat fur is labelled fake fur but isn't. If you bend collar away from you, in a u shape, and blow the 'fur' if fake you will see a woven base. If you see a thin 'leather' base, you may be looking at dog or cat fur - which is cheaper to buy in China, than fake fur. A lot of cheap pound type stores have stuffed toys that look Furry but are labelled fake fur. Often they aren't. If you are worried, find out where you report your worry in your state or country. Tell them where you bought your jacket or toy, etc.
