A tour with Ross the 1 legged miner is not a disappointment...Laders everywhere Tom. Lol. Ross had done a lot to his mines . Thanks for sharing the tour.
Well, hello, my two Desert Rats. Man, you hit the jack pot with this one. That was just awesome. What a huge mine. I wish you could see the mammoth workings in Eureka Utah it's unbelievable. Gigantic underground workings. Massive stopes and huge haulage tunnels. Anyway, it looks like you all had a great time. Thanks as always for taking me along. And please be safe in all you do. Untill next time thanks again.
Hi Bob. Yes, this is a great mine, and there are three others that Ross owns, as well. All of them are good-sized mines. Hopefully, someday, we can get over to the Eureka area. We all had a good time in this one. You're welcome, and thank you for watching and for the nice comment!👍😊
Cool artifacts in there, Tom! Your friend Ross was very kind to take you on a tour. I guess the powder mag was to keep tight control of the explosives--even from the everyday miner. Very cool that there are still tracks and carts in there. Glad to see you two still out having fun!
Hi Craig. Yes, Ross gave us a good tour. The powder mags were just another measure of safety to keep the explosives dry and secure away from the blasting caps and fuse. Thanks for watching and commenting!👍😁
Happy New Year to everyone! It's always great to see how things are going with Ross. Can't wait to see the slusher online again. It sure will help clearing the shafts for track. You guys could spend days in the mines there and probably still not see it all. But it would make some great videos. Thanks for a pleasant surprise guys!
Happy New Year. He's talking about doing some blasting and mucking, so we'll see what happens. You're right that you could spend days in these mines and not see everything. Thanks for watching!👍😁

WOW! That was one BIG mine! Just think of all the trees it took to hold up that mountain.
Thank you, Tom & Julie!
Hi Jimmi. Yes, and there are five more levels down below the main level that are not in this video. It's a big mine. Thanks for watching!👍😁

That haulage tunnel goes about 2.5 miles into the mouuntain if I recall correctly.
Did you guys go soak in the hot springs afterwards????
Hi Eddee. No, we didn't. There are several in the area, though. Even a mud hole just outside of town. Thanks for the comment!👍😁
