China's progress in technology and sustainability is truly impressive! The way they combine innovation in industries like aquaculture with green energy is remarkable. It's a great example of how technology and environmental care can go hand in hand.
China’s advancements are indeed impressive! Do you think their focus on innovation and sustainability could inspire a global shift in aquaculture and energy practices? 🌱🐟✨
Wow, did anyone else catch the advancements in tilapia farming at 2:00? The use of recirculating aquaculture systems is truly revolutionary! It saves water and increases fish density-impressive!
That’s interesting! It’s amazing how tilapia can be both a farmed delicacy and an invasive species-do you think better management could turn the problem into an opportunity? 🌍🐟
Dear Team, I watched your video and was inspired by your work on Tilapia fish farming. Congratulations on your achievements! The tilapia farming industry in China is amazing! Through perseverance and experience, farmers here have scaled production to a massive scale, not only meeting domestic demand but also reaching out to the world, bringing in billions of dollars each year. This is truly a testament to the power of agriculture!
Fascinating to see how Chinese farmers raise billions of tilapia! The scale of this operation is incredible. But I wonder-how sustainable is this level of production for the environment and the fish quality? What do you all think?
Sustainability depends on many factors such as waste management, fish feed, and the impact on the ecosystem. If managed well, large-scale production can benefit both the environment and the quality of the fish.
The scale is mind-blowing! Sustainability is a great question though-do you think advanced farming methods like recirculating systems can help balance production with environmental care? 🐟🌍
Chinese farmers turn ponds into gold mines! With modern processing factories, they’ve mastered the art of turning tilapia into billion-dollar treasures. Truly a culinary gold rush
Thank you for sharing such an insightful documentary! Just a quick clarification regarding some of the footage in your video between 3:51 - 3:58 and 5:13 - 5:37. These scenes were actually filmed at our tilapia hatchery, Nam Sai Farms, located in Thailand. 😊
While those secrets are fascinating, have you seen how modern agricultural technology is revolutionizing tilapia farming? There are some game-changing methods out there that can take this to the next level! Curious to learn more? Let’s dive into the future of aquaculture
Am in Tanzania i would love to start this business but i want to ask what type of food tou use so that fish can grow this big and how many mouths can take to make them grow big
Compared to other countries, Brazil, my country, is the fourth largest producer of tilapia in the world, behind China (2.05 million tons), Indonesia (1.45 million tons) and Egypt (1.1 million tons). (2024)
This video was definitely sponsored by the Chinese government. . No way all this tech can give us cheap fish. He said it all when he said small farms use traditional methods which is just about all the fish produced. China is basically this, “you want cheap, we will give you cheap”
so what ? every corporate company does the same .. US tobacco business lied and held back that Tobacco causes cancer for 50 years pluss .. they all do it 🙏😀🤔
After my surgery removing lymph nodes from my abdomen due to testicular cancer i ate baked talapia every day because i had a drain on me draining lymphatic fluid i had to be on a low fat diet
"How do Chinese farmers raise billions of tilapia and reel in billions of dollars each year? It's all about innovative farming techniques and mastering the art of fish farming-watch the secrets unfold!"
you need to tackle countless challenges to get that big, one of the biggest challenges is ensuring water quality, I had some unlucky moment when the power shut down then the water flow stopped, moments later dead fish piling up on the surface, power and electricity cost are immense unless supported by off grid solar panel, which is very costly to install and need maintenance of course, it's a heavy investment industry, and you can't mess up at all on every stage of farming process
Tilapia is a prime example of providing essential food to the world. Although its taste may not be extraordinary, tilapia is still an important source of nutrition and helps improve global food security.
We use to have this invasive fish overrunning ponds like a parasite eating away all the food meant for the farmed fish and suddenly in about 7-8 years it went extinct 🤷🏻

That's amazing! I didn't think they raised tilapia as well. In my hometown, it's considered an invasive species.
I’m also surprised because tilapia in my area don’t grow as big as the ones they raise.

The Chinese have made food more available and affordable, probably have saved a lot of lives.
Thank you for sharing this perspective! It’s so important to recognize how access to food can change lives for the better.

Wild fish are still better than farmed fish.
