Alice is a beautiful girl. Seeing her up close… the feather pattern is stunning. I would definitely consider adding a Barnevelder to my flock in the future ❤
She is the sweetest little thing. I wanted to get a silver laced Barnevelder, but the hatchery was out of them. I love this breed! 🥰

Great video, Donna. I have so far stayed away from new chick arrivals...my 3 are soon a year. I know their habits, and do not want the hub bub of baby chicks this year. ( Hope i stick to my plan)....lol

Would you consider Alice one of the quieter breeds? I’ve read that they are chatty but not loud. Moving to an HOA so this is an important consideration for my breed choice.
@lisadavis9286 As far as just making noise in general, she's not loud. But her egg song is definitely loud. My Easter egger is my quietest.
How have u got any grass left? My girls have eaten a lot of my grass & I only let em out about an hour a day
It's about an acre, so I guess they have a lot of space to wander around in. 😊

Alice is always quite shiny and luminous. Barnevelders are one breed I'm definitely interested in.
