Hi,love the video. with the apache 5800 if you take it on a plane and don't adjust the valve while in the air will my camera gear get damaged? does pressure build up inside? or would I have to get up once in a while and adjust it?
I have not had any gear to be damaged from using the 5800 while flying. I have had my lid to compress slightly because I forgot to adjust the valve but nothing was damaged, not even the case itself. I still have it and use it for air travel to this day.
@@42Pros thanks for the info. I decided to buy it. I don’t know much about the auto and manual pressure valve but I am glad I went with jt. So do u know if I just have to open the valve when flying? Or close it before the flight? Thanks!
@@ez591same question here! Just flew for the first time with mine and now I can’t open it! It’s slightly concave and the valve release does nothing!! Hope I can open it by morning when we start production. 😂🤣
I would think so, especially if you were able to use every padded panel that it comes with. Depending on the diameter of the bottles you may want to add another foam top cover for extra protection.
i amode Patrick , Thank you !! Bro.
Will the 1510TPKIT TrekPak Case Divider Kit fit in the Apache 5800?
I don’t have any experience with that kit but the Pelican 1510 and the Apache 5800 are identical in size.
good video! thanks!
I just purchased two. One was $41.00, and o e with wheels $69.00. 2024
