Also, who doesn't check to make sure there's no Screech on you after exiting a dark room? Even more proof, check out my 15:58 PR, it exhibits basically the same behavior, yet it got accepted by the speedrun moderators. Why's that? Because they're smart enough to know it's not hacked

You know the run ain't normal when the first 2 entities you encounter are Halt & Ambush. dang this is definitely the most replies and likes I've ever gotten on a comment.
By the way for people that don't know: Glitch doesn't only appear if you get to far from your teammates. He is literally just a fail safe. If the game is unable to load a room fast enough then Glitch will buy you time and as long as it's to load Glitch will not damage you (By the way the game unable to load fast enough is more common to happen during Seek chase I think)
I see a lot of people confused on how glitch appeared in a solo run. Lets clear this up. Glitch can appear in one of two circumstances. Either if you are lagging behind the group in a multiplayer run (in which he will teleport you back) Or if the room in front of you failed to load. I like how glitch just sorta wants to help you by getting past glitched areas… or if your in multiplayer then catching up with everyone else, but he deals some damage in the process
Also he doesn't damage you when you aren't in multiplayer. The room is unable to load due to lag or WiFi issue or something else and he lets you pass the area

The most cursed run I’ve ever had is once I was soloing and I was at door 67, ambush came and then after door 68 I went into door 69 and there was another ambush coming. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced

Well the weirdest run I had was actually today. Once I got into door 6 a ambush immediately spawned I managed to live and got into door 8 which I encountered halt. Truly weird

For those who don't know, the key makes a small sparkling noise which, if paid attention to, you can easily find the key every locked room. I've never seen "Guiding Light" (entity) shine it's blue light around or heard some sort of sound when near the lever as with the key, so that Idk. Btw I think I've had an even more cursed run with Ambush at door 5, Ambush at door 44, Ambush at door 76 and Halt at door 95.
Btw, i suggest doing the breaker puzzle a diffrent way: bassicly you turn on all the switches and turn off the ones that say they are supposed to be off, its way faster than that method
Thats what i do i got expert technician 3 times like that so no mistakes though i also reccomend learning positions bases on sensitivity and put your mouse in the middle i play shooters and it wasnt quite hard but it may be hard to others
Worst thing that happened to me was exiting a dark room, then having rush come and then hearing a late screech “psst” right as I was hiding from rush and then not being able to click the screech because of the camera lock in wardrobes and then dying to the screech.
Ikr! That happend when I was on door 96. Don't worry, I already died on 100 twice. I only got the ending once bc door 50 exists. I died on door 50.. about.. hmm.. 31 times? I count, bc why not. I only made it through door 50, 3 times.
One fact about the courtyard room: When Rush or Ambush goes through, there will be no light except the lights don't get destroyed, they just don't produce light anymore.
Someone had a glitch and got door 0 halt, no joke they spawned in and halt was glitched in the room chasing the poor player around, and no it wasn't a hacker bc it was solo
My most cursed run so far was when I got ambush at door 15, during first the seek chase I got double middle and I ran OVER the piles of stuff, next room after the first seek chase eyes was chilling in the walls, right after that room eyes appeared on the top of some stairs, then two rooms after that eyes spawned right in the doorway, then when I made it to door 50 figure stopped making footstep sounds, during the second seek chase all I had to go through was middle, then after that I made it to a dark room where I heard “ psst “ but screech attacked me as he was saying that, then at door 100 I died because the door wouldn’t open to the elevator area.
One time I got ambush TWICE with a 3 door gap between the two appearances. I got Jack twice, once near 20-30 and once in door 50, I got hallway jack once. What a goofy run!! I ended up dying at door 71 😍
I got timothy thrice in a match. one around the beginning, one where you pick up the note with the order to the code at door 50, and then the other at 51
Yall here's a tip on how to fix the elevator faster: power on every single one and then just flip off the ones that don't have a full square next to them. There will be more full then unfull so it's easier

I was in a run with my friend who is new to doors and we got ambush at door 13. He somehow barely survived it but later on door 15 another ambush came and he did survive it flawlessly after that.
I also got a cursed run like this but, it happened to me, THRICE (aka three separate runs) Which means ambush spawned in door 14 three times. (Note: no halt on those three runs sadly, but like two days ago halt glitched while I soloing, halt still kept on going even tho I got out the room already, Eyes spawned too. Don't know if it's my ping, internet or a bug.)
This man is a legend I could not be a better speed runner even after years of practice. Also he isn’t cheating by finding the keys because when you are near the keys there is a faint shining sound so he just has really good ears
Let me tell you about my worse run, Room 5-9 eyes was there. Consecutively, back to back. Rush was stalking me every other room, jack was being a little troll, and the worse thing was, I died to seek part 2.
Honestly the rarest things that have happened to me in DOORS (which aren’t even rare) are: -Halt in Room 10 -Timothy 4 times in one game (I died around door 60 or so) -Timothy on Door 0 EDIT: -Timothy on Room 2 -EYES 6 ROOMS IN A ROW (not seek's eyes, the entity eyes. this one is quite rare) EDIT 2: -Rush activating Redroom Jack (sadly I wasn’t able to record it) EDIT 3: -Shadow (again bruh wasn’t recording I swear all the rare things happen when I’m playing solo and not recording)
The most cursed thing I had was when I got Eyes 8 times in one run. I was confused and frustrated, somehow that was also my first time beating door 100.
I feel like ive had a more cursed run than this, at door 6 to 11 eyes kept spawning, on door 28 we got like 8 dark rooms in a row, rush appeared without a warning, I died, but one of my teammates met jack in a room, not the closet then after jack despawned ambush appeared and killed my teammate, too bad it wasnt recorded because that run was so cracked.
I think I've gotten a run more cursed than this, I had a ambush on door 6 door 19 and door 27. I gotten 5 Halts, 10 eyes and a few Rushes to top that off. It took me 30 minutes to beat doors with this seed.
I had the weirdest run ever. i had ambush door 6, game then proceeds to give me 7 dark rooms in a row, once its a light room, it was halt, at that point i could die to timothy. But i didnt so THE GAME PROCEEDS TO ADD 16 MORE DARKROOMS
7 darkrooms in a row isnt a confirmed possibility. Plus if you mean 16 darkrooms in a row, you either have insane luck or are lying sorry for overcomplicating it
Wow thats crazy! From my personal experience I got halt on 9 eyes on 6, eyes on 7 rush on 8 (ambush on 32 although thats not awful) eyes again on 22 and 24 (I was constantly looking down at the point when entering a new room) throughout that I got timothy a ton to the point where I lost like a quarter of my HP to him seek was delayed a ton appearing at door 47? 46? I forgot. Yours is way worse I will add ambush in place of rush first try double middle and early seek I cant list all the crap (I just wanted to share my crappy run lol) Also congrats on almost having 100 subs!
Another run I got ambush door 5 and the run after I got ambush on 12 and a few days ago I got my friend killed by trying to glitch him but triggered ambush on room 6 while I was doing it

A lot of people seem to be confused about the DIFFERENCE between error and glitch. Yes they are 2 separate entities. Error can occur in both multiplayer AND singleplayer, however glitch only occurs in multiplayer. The entity GLITCH is the entity that pulls you back to your group if you get too far away. ERROR is the one that takes you to another room if the next room does not load correctly! I hope this helped some people out on their journey through doors :)) Edit : Also their names could be the other way around! Sorry if I messed that up- And also one more thing. Error doesnt damage you while glitch does.

When DanTDM played doors he got the glitch on seek's last door so this checks out to me.
this also happens when the next room generates in a way that would nornally softlock you (usually broken door generating on top of exit door)

For those who don't know, the key makes a small sparkling noise which, if paid attention to, you can easily find the key every locked room. I've never seen "Guiding Light" (entity) shine it's blue light around or heard some sort of sound when near the lever as with the key, so that Idk. Btw I think I've had an even more cursed run with Ambush at door 5, Ambush at door 44, Ambush at door 76 and Halt at door 95.
I've had one with ambush at door 4, rush appearing and having to go in a room TWICE (ambush moment) and with halt twice.
Every time I face seek he is always like hacking me or something cus I do it correctly and he still gets me so I think mine is more cursed
The guiding light only shows the blue light or during the seek run.

Btw, i suggest doing the breaker puzzle a diffrent way: bassicly you turn on all the switches and turn off the ones that say they are supposed to be off, its way faster than that method

Thats what i do i got expert technician 3 times like that so no mistakes though i also reccomend learning positions bases on sensitivity and put your mouse in the middle i play shooters and it wasnt quite hard but it may be hard to others
I honestly find it fastest to just memorize where the switches are and just stare at the indicator and press whatever shows up with muscle memory
Worst thing that happened to me was exiting a dark room, then having rush come and then hearing a late screech “psst” right as I was hiding from rush and then not being able to click the screech because of the camera lock in wardrobes and then dying to the screech.

My most cursed run so far was when I got ambush at door 15, during first the seek chase I got double middle and I ran OVER the piles of stuff, next room after the first seek chase eyes was chilling in the walls, right after that room eyes appeared on the top of some stairs, then two rooms after that eyes spawned right in the doorway, then when I made it to door 50 figure stopped making footstep sounds, during the second seek chase all I had to go through was middle, then after that I made it to a dark room where I heard “ psst “ but screech attacked me as he was saying that, then at door 100 I died because the door wouldn’t open to the elevator area.

One time I got ambush TWICE with a 3 door gap between the two appearances. I got Jack twice, once near 20-30 and once in door 50, I got hallway jack once. What a goofy run!! I ended up dying at door 71 😍

Yall here's a tip on how to fix the elevator faster: power on every single one and then just flip off the ones that don't have a full square next to them. There will be more full then unfull so it's easier

I was in a run with my friend who is new to doors and we got ambush at door 13. He somehow barely survived it but later on door 15 another ambush came and he did survive it flawlessly after that.

This, in fact, *is* the most cursed run I have ever seen
I also got a cursed run like this but, it happened to me, THRICE (aka three separate runs) Which means ambush spawned in door 14 three times. (Note: no halt on those three runs sadly, but like two days ago halt glitched while I soloing, halt still kept on going even tho I got out the room already, Eyes spawned too. Don't know if it's my ping, internet or a bug.)
This man is a legend I could not be a better speed runner even after years of practice. Also he isn’t cheating by finding the keys because when you are near the keys there is a faint shining sound so he just has really good ears
Let me tell you about my worse run, Room 5-9 eyes was there. Consecutively, back to back. Rush was stalking me every other room, jack was being a little troll, and the worse thing was, I died to seek part 2.

no, the generation attempts to choose a room with there being as many closets (or more) as the amount of players alive (may fail during 5p+)

I feel like ive had a more cursed run than this, at door 6 to 11 eyes kept spawning, on door 28 we got like 8 dark rooms in a row, rush appeared without a warning, I died, but one of my teammates met jack in a room, not the closet then after jack despawned ambush appeared and killed my teammate, too bad it wasnt recorded because that run was so cracked.

I had the weirdest run ever. i had ambush door 6, game then proceeds to give me 7 dark rooms in a row, once its a light room, it was halt, at that point i could die to timothy. But i didnt so THE GAME PROCEEDS TO ADD 16 MORE DARKROOMS

From my personal experience I got halt on 9 eyes on 6, eyes on 7 rush on 8 (ambush on 32 although thats not awful) eyes again on 22 and 24 (I was constantly looking down at the point when entering a new room) throughout that I got timothy a ton to the point where I lost like a quarter of my HP to him seek was delayed a ton appearing at door 47? 46? I forgot. Yours is way worse I will add ambush in place of rush first try double middle and early seek I cant list all the crap (I just wanted to share my crappy run lol) Also congrats on almost having 100 subs!

Another run I got ambush door 5 and the run after I got ambush on 12 and a few days ago I got my friend killed by trying to glitch him but triggered ambush on room 6 while I was doing it

A lot of people seem to be confused about the DIFFERENCE between error and glitch. Yes they are 2 separate entities. Error can occur in both multiplayer AND singleplayer, however glitch only occurs in multiplayer. The entity GLITCH is the entity that pulls you back to your group if you get too far away. ERROR is the one that takes you to another room if the next room does not load correctly! I hope this helped some people out on their journey through doors :))
Edit : Also their names could be the other way around! Sorry if I messed that up- And also one more thing. Error doesnt damage you while glitch does.
